Police were sent to Lilac Street for a report of a man, with a head laceration, “and something to do with a window,” according to an affidavit. Officers met with a woman and McJuary who was covered in blood, from his face to his chest and feet, the report said, from a cut on his forehead. The officers also noticed a broken window and glass on a porch. An officer asked what happened and McJuary said he got mad and smashed his head into the window, after mishearing something the woman said and “jumping to conclusions,” the affidavit stated. The woman, who was not charged, was accused of saying she threw a chair that broke and motioned to it. Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to work on the cut on McJuary’s forehead while the woman continued to speak with officers.
