Nashua Police Pick Up 9 During Substance Abuse Reduction Initiative

The arrests targeted narcotic-related and other criminal activity within the Gate City.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police continue to work with its drug enforcement and problem-oriented policing unit to arrest area residents on various charges.

Four people were arrested in March, while another five were arrested between April, according to police.

Arrested on the week of March 16 were Xiomara Motta Rosa, 40, on a felony reckless conduct-deadly weapon charge, and Dakota Carey, 33, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-methamphetamine.

Arrested the week of March 30 were Luis Bodon, 19, of Lowell, Massachusetts, on possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of crack cocaine, both felonies, and Natasha Jackson, 35, on possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-crack cocaine charges, both felonies.

Five other people were arrested between April 13 and April 17, according to police: Timothy O’Mara, 60, on a felony count of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-crack cocaine; Daniel Renzi, 36, on possession of amphetamine and possession of dextroamphetamine charges, both felonies; Miguel Saez, 61, on a transporting drugs in a motor vehicle charge; Travis Thompson, 35, on two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-subsequent, meth and fentanyl; and Tyrone Woods, 40, on felony possession of buprenorphine and naloxone mix, possession of meth, and possessing of fentanyl charges.

Jackson and Rosa were held on preventive detention.

O’Mara and Saez were transported to and held at the county jail.

Carey, Lewis, Renzi, and Thompson were released on personal recognizance.

Woods was released on $400 cash bail.
