Trumbull Local Election Results 2019: Full Results
First Selectman Vicki Tesoro has won another term. Here are the full election results for town council and other races.

TRUMBULL, CT — First Selectman Vicki Tesoro has declared victory in the Trumbull race over Republican challenger Michael Herbst. Tesoro got around 67 percent of the vote to Herbst's roughly 38 percent. Democratic candidates for town clerk and treasurer also won.
"We faced a very difficult opponent who followed the conventional wisdom that negative campaigns win," she said in a statement. "We chose the path of civility and guess what.... we won."
She went on to say her campaign had better ideas, a better team and a better run campaign.
