Beloved retailer to open first South Shore location
Aritzia is set to open a new boutique at Derby Street Shops in Hingham, marking the brand’s continued expansion across Massachusetts. The Vancouver-based fashion retailer is expected to debut this fall at 94 Derby St.
7-Eleven is planning mass closures in the U.S.
The parent company of 7-Eleven plans to close 645 convenience stores across North America, potentially including some in Massachusetts.
While the company has not yet disclosed which locations will close, there are more than 100 7-Eleven stores across Massachusetts, including in Malden, Medford, Somerville, Newton, Brighton, Everett and Cambridge.
Expansion planned for shopping plaza in Burlington
A proposal before the town's Planning Board calls for expanding a commercial plaza, which is currently home to a Dunkin', a spa and nail salon, and a jewelry store.
The 85 Wilmington Road site currently has 19,806 square feet of floor area. The expansion would boost that by 17,044 square feet, bringing the total to 36,850 square feet, according to an application filed with the town.
