Concord High School's Crimson Tide Wrestling Team Places 2nd At NHIAA Division I Championships
Twelve of the 14 Crimson Tide varsity wrestlers will compete in the NHIAA Meet of Champions bouts in Derry on Saturday.
LONDONDERRY, NH — Twelve out of 14 Concord High School varsity wrestlers are heading to the Meet of Champions after battling in several bouts at the NHIAA Division I State Championships in Londonderry on Sunday.
The Crimson Tide placed second in points for the 15th time in team history. Timberlane Regional High School won the DI title. Concord had five finalists, the most since 2020. The 12 Concord wrestlers will compete with the Top 5 finishers in Division II and Top 4 finishers in Division III at the Meet of Champions at Pinkerton Academy in Derry on Saturday.

In the 106-pound bracket, Biswas Darji took second place. Dominic Schinella came in first in the 126. Owen Gregg placed fourth in the 132. Ramon Reynolds came in 5th in the 138. Jaxon Carter placed second in the 144. Daniel Sheehan came in fifth in the 150. Leonardo Chung came in fifth in the 157. In the 165, Ryley Holt placed fourth. Maximus Chung came in second in the 175. Jakob Manseau, in the 190, came in sixth. Isaiah Puckett came in second in the 215. And Wayne Guiterrez-Sakakeeny came in fifth in the 285.
Carter Buxton in the 113 bracket went 2-2 and Khai Jawitz in the 120 went 1-2.

The winning wrestlers from DI, DII, and DIII will compete at the Meet of Champions at 9 a.m. on Feb. 28 at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. The Girls Meet of Champions will be held at 3 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Pinkerton Academy.
