Jean-Max Geffrard, 46, of Concord Gardens in Concord, was arrested at 11:51 a.m. on April 7, 2017, for violation of a protective order. According to a court affidavit, at around 12:30 p.m. on April 6, an officer was sent to Monarch Drive for a report of a possible DVO violation. A woman alleged that her E-ZPass and jumper cables were stolen from her vehicle a few weeks before and suspected it was her husband, Geffrard. The next morning, the officer reportedly had a message from Geffrard about the E-ZPass account and his phone number. The officer called Geffrard and they reportedly agreed to meet at the Everett Arena. According to the affidavit, Geffrard allegedly told the officer that in early March he was at Walmart, saw his car parked in the lot, entered it, and took out his E-ZPass. When asked if the woman was there, he reportedly stated, “No.” He also allegedly didn’t know anything about the missing jumper cables. The officer looked up the DVO protection order that is active until late December and it reportedly stated that Geffrard was not to take any property that the woman had a legal or equitable interest in. The officer filed the affidavit and he was arrested later that day.
