Alleged Stranglers, Drug Dealers, Thieves, Others Indicted: Roundup

Concord man indicted for robbery; Belmont, Franklin, Gilmanton, Laconia, Loudon, Manchester, Northfield residents indicted on drug charges.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Douglas Barton, 36, of School Street in Loudon, for felony possession of a narcotic drug-hydrocodone and operating after suspension-second offense, allegedly on Aug. 27, 2016, on School Street in Loudon. He was previously convicted of operating after suspension in August 2012.

William Beatty, 41, of Manchester Street in Manchester, for felony accomplice to theft by deception, allegedly on June 26, 2016, in Concord, in concert with Raymond Perez after a gift card incident at Lowes. Beatty has previously been convicted of theft in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North and willful concealment in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Nicholas Benjamin, 25, of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for felony disposing of stolen property. On Sept. 28, 2016, in Chichester, he allegedly disposed of two Bostich roofing nailers at the Atlantic Traders in Chichester knowing that they had been stolen from a South Curtisville Road location. Benjamin was previously convicted of theft twice in Aug. 2015.

Dana Bigl, 41, pictured lower left, of Albin Street in Concord, for second-degree assault, a felony, and domestic violence. On Nov. 4, 2016, he allegedly strangled and pushed a woman in Concord.

Robert Blake, 42, of Main Street in Ashland, for felony possession of controlled drug-methamphetamine, allegedly on July 2, 2016, in Henniker.

Justin Briggs, 25, pictured upper left, a homeless man now located in Concord, for felony robbery. On Aug. 29, 2016, he allegedly threatened threw a glass statute at another man’s head while demanding that he empty his pockets.

James Bryson, 57, of Winter Street in Laconia, on three felony counts of sale of a narcotic drug-cocaine, allegedly in April and May 2013 in Franklin. He was previously convicted of possession of a controlled drug in Belknap County Superior Court in August 2005.

Thomas Chambers, 28, of Province Road in Belmont, for two felony counts of possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, allegedly on Aug. 1, 2016, in Concord. Previously, he was convicted of controlled drug act in Belknap County Superior Court in November 2015.

Jeffrey Connor, 50, of Province Road in Gilmanton, for sale of a narcotic substance-fentanyl, and sale of a substance represented to be a narcotic drug-heroin, both felonies, allegedly on Feb. 23, 2016, on Storrs Street in Concord.

Paul Costella, 43, of Crossmill Road in Northfield, on two counts of possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, three counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon-knives, knuckles, all felonies. The charges stem from two alleged incidents on Sept. 22, 2016, in Franklin and Boscawen. He was previously convicted on a drug charges in Merrimack County Superior Court in July 2003.

Fred Cross III, 46, pictured right, of Central Street in Franklin, for possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl, and two counts of receiving stolen property, all felonies. On June 6, 2016, in Northfield, he allegedly stole a sickle rake and lanterns from a home and copper wiring from the New England South Railroad Company. Cross has previously been convicted of burglary in Grafton Superior Court in February 2013 and Plymouth District Court in August 2012 for theft.

Caitlyn Dalrymple, 30, of Manchester, incarcerated at the time of her indictment, for possession of a narcotic drug-methamphetamine, allegedly on Sept. 6, 2016, in Loudon.

Ryan Ehrgott, 43, of Broad Cove Drive in Concord, for felony operating while deemed a habitual offender, allegedly on Sept. 4, 2013, on Industrial Park Drive in Concord. He was certified a habitual offender by the NH DMV in July 2006.
