Ohio Man Indicted On Statutory Rape, Abuse Image Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Plus: Concord woman faces drug dealing charges; Pembroke woman indicted on drug, crash charges; Chichester man indicted on gun charge.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Jessica E. Allen, 40, of Concord, incarcerated in the Merrimack County House of Corrections at the time of the indictment, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, possession of meth with intent to distribute, sale of methamphetamine, conspiracy to commit sale of meth, and two sale of meth charges, all felonies. On Nov. 14, Nov. 29, Dec. 9, and Dec. 15, 2022, in Concord, she was accused of possessing the drugs and-or selling the drugs to a confidential informant. On Nov. 21, 2022, in Concord, she was accused of working with Timothy McLaughlin to sell meth to a confidential informant in Concord.

Amy Ruston, 41, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke on possession of fentanyl and second-degree assault charges, both felonies. She was accused of possessing the drugs and using a vehicle as a deadly weapon in Concord on Oct. 15, 2022, causing a crash and injuring a child.

Michael Savard, 37, of Piper Hill Road in Stewartstown on possession of crack cocaine and two possession of fentanyl charges, all felonies, on Sept. 29, 2022, in Bow.

Laurel M. Shaffer, 36, of Silver Street in Manchester on a controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine and controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl charges, both felonies, in Hooksett on Oct. 11, 2022.

Katelyn Schmitt, 30, of Liscomb Circle in Gilford on a felony driving while certified as a habitual offender charge. She was accused of driving on Dover Road in Epsom on Dec. 6, 2022, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Ethan Sturgeon, 21, of Straight Street in Cincinnati, Ohio, on four felony counts of felonious sexual assault and six felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images. He was accused of statutory rape of a girl in Franklin between Dec. 1, 2021, and March 31, 2022. Between Dec. 1, 2021, and March 31, 2022, Sturgeon hew was accused of possessing sexual abuse images on his Discord account.

Thomas Senecal, 37, of Merrill Lane in Chichester on a felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon charge. He was accused of pulling a firearm out of his waistband and racking it during a verbal altercation with another person at The Draft on South Main Street on Oct. 25, 2022. Ryan J. Sharkey, 41, of Enfield, incarcerated at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men at the time of the indictment, on a felony reckless conduct charge. He was accused of using a motor vehicle as a weapon by driving north in the southbound lane of Interstate 89 at speeds above the legal limit on Jan. 3, 2022, in Concord.

Carl D. Soderberg, 54, a homeless man now located in Concord, on forgery and theft by deception charges, both felonies. He was accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill at the New Hampshire State Liquor and Wine Outlet on July 14, 2022. Twice before, according to the indictment, Soderberg was convicted on theft charges in Concord District Court in March 1992 and May 2021.
