Pair From Belmont Arrested After Walmart Theft Incident: Log

Concord Police also arrested Hopkinton man on driving charges, homeless man for panhandling, and Pembroke man on felony forgery charges.

CONCORD, NH - Emily R. Sweezy, 23, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. on April 30, 2016, on two counts of driving while intoxicated. An officer observed a white sedan pull up to a stop sign, then inch forward, and then, quickly turn onto North State Street, reportedly nearly colliding with a police cruiser. The vehicle was stopped and the officer approached the driver – Sweezy – who was smoking a cigarette and allegedly smelled like alcohol and had red and glossy eyes, according to the arrest report. The two spoke about what she was doing, where she was coming from, and why she stopped oddly at the street before pulling out. Sweezy reportedly stated that a fence was blocking her view. After a field sobriety test, she was arrested. She’s due in court on May 23.

Herbert N. Thibeault, 52, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on April 29, 2016, for default or breach of bail conditions. An officer was sent to Concord Hospital to take charge of Thibeault after he allegedly blew a 0.344 Breathalyzer test in violation of his bail. He refused bail and was taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.

Timothy C. Bickford, 30, of Fire Pond Road in Hopkinton, was arrested at 7 p.m. on April 24, 2016, for suspended registration and driving after revocation or suspension. An officer ran a check on a Volkswagen Jetta on Storrs Street and it came up with a suspended registration. The driver was stopped on North Main Street. “I informed Timothy that both his driver's license and vehicle registration were under suspension at which point he let out a sigh,” the officer alleged. “Timothy stated that he thought everything was ‘squared away’ with the Department of Motor Vehicles, otherwise, he wouldn't have been driving. After confirming the suspensions with dispatch (suspended 04/17/16), Timothy was subsequently placed under arrest.” He’s due in court on June 6.

John C. Bologna, 42, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 10:30 a.m. on April 23, 2016, for passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle after an officer allegedly caught him stepping into the roadway while panhandling outside of the Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road. Previously, Bologna had been warned in January twice not to step into the road, so he was given a summons. He’s due in court on June 6.

Melinda McDonald, 35, of Concord Street in Belmont, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. on April 11, 2016, for theft by deception. Also arrested was Kyle B. Joyce, same address, for criminal liability for the conduct of another. Officers were sent to Walmart on Loudon Road for a report of someone trying to make a return on a stolen item – an empty box for a different box containing a car seat, according to the report. According to the employee, the couple picked out a car seat and a modem and placed them in a cart. They allegedly then returned to a U-Haul van in the parking lot, took out two empty boxes for the same items, and then placed them back on the shelves of the store, according to the report. They are due in court on May 23.

Stefan R. Ingerson, 27, of Grove Street in Dover, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. on March 30, 2016, on two counts of possession of controlled drugs (heroin, marijuana), one a felony, from an alleged incident in March 2015. He was arrested by Dover Police on the Concord warrant issued on March 6. Ingerson is due in court on May 2.

Craig S. Laramie, 32, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on March 27, 2016, on two counts of forgery, two counts of theft by deception, and two counts of receiving stolen property, all felonies, from alleged incidents in December 2015 involving Merrimack County Savings Bank and Service Credit Union. He was arrested by Hooksett Police on the warrant. He’s due in court on May 2.

Chantale L. Lyons, 28, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. on March 12, 2016, on a bench warrant out Newport District Court for nonpayment of council fees, $211.88, on a burglary charge. She was arrested after police were sent to the Cumbies on Fisherville Road for a report of a vehicle that had been in the parking lot for about five and half hours. The store employee was asked to call police if the owner returned to the store but the employee said that it would probably be towed. Before it was towed, Lyons showed up and was arrested by police, according to an arrest report.
