Saying 'Creepy Things' Leads to Breach of Bail Charge: Log
Concord Police: Woman allegedly burns beau with cigarette after finding text messages from other women; Hillsboro man charged with DWI.

CONCORD, NH - Roman R. Cornelius, 27, of Electric Avenue in Concord, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. on April 19, 2016, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. Police were sent to Village Street to speak to a business owner that alleged that Cornelius was making lewd comments to her and her clients, according to a court affidavit. The officers arrived at the business but didn’t see him. They then headed to Washington Street and onto Electric Avenue and spotted him walking into his residence, according to the report. The officers spoke with him and he allegedly admitted to saying some “creepy things” to the woman but wouldn’t elaborate, according to the affidavit. The officers alleged that Cornelius smelled like alcohol, a breach of his bail from a criminal mischief charge earlier this month. He was arrested and held on $2,000 cash bail.

Walter I. Healey, 61, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 10:25 a.m. on April 18, 2016, for possession of alcoholic beverages on public property. Police allegedly found him under the Loudon Road Bridge off Storrs Street with a 24-ounce can of High Gravity Steel Reserve Malt Liquor. Healey allegedly admitted he was drinking the beer and was given a summons. He’s due in court on June 6.

Kristy M. Daniels, 33, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on April 16, 2016, for false report to law enforcement from an alleged incident at CVS on Loudon Road on March 23, 2016. She was arrested by Hooksett Police. Daniels is due in court on May 23.

Garrett P. Roy, 26, of Gould Pond Road in Hillsboro, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. on April 15, 2016, for driving while intoxicated-drugs. An officer on Loudon Road reportedly saw a vehicle make a “wide right hand turn” from the Exit 14 off-ramp onto Loudon Road while straddling the center lane markings, according to a report. The officer followed the Subaru Impreza a reported that it “completely cut off another vehicle” that was traveling in the left lane of the road. “The vehicle made a quick left jerk to the left and switched from the right hand travel lane into the left hand travel lane causing the vehicle driving in the left hand travel lane to apply its brakes to avoid a collision,” the officer alleged. “The vehicle failed to use its left turn signal before switching from the right travel lane to the left travel lane.” The driver was pulled over and questioned about his driving. Roy reportedly stated that he didn’t notice he hadn’t used his signal. “I’m sorry,” he allegedly stated. “I’m just going to Walmart.” The officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and after field sobriety tests, Roy was arrested. He’s is due in court on May 2.
Heather O’Brien, 20, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. on March 25, 2016, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. Officers were sent to Concord Gardens for a report of a domestic. The officer was familiar with the apartment because it was the scene of a previous burglary investigation, according to the report. The couple was separated and the woman – O’Brien – reportedly told officers that she checked her boyfriend’s cellphone because she believed he was texting other women. Later, she told him their relationship was over, according to a court affidavit. He wouldn’t let her leave, she alleged, and threw her down on the floor. She pointed to a bruise mark on her arm but the officer alleged only seeing “track marks from IV heroin use,” according to the report. Officers spoke to the man who stated that he was in bed when she allegedly started yelling at him about text messages. He got dressed and went to leave and she allegedly punched him. The punch damaged his glasses, he alleged, although the officer didn’t see any damage to them. She then allegedly burned him in the chest with a lit cigarette, according to the affidavit. The officer examined the man, saw the cigarette burn as well as fingernail marks, and spoke with O’Brien again. “She told me that (the victim) got in her face, her cigarette broke, and burnt his chest,” according to the report. O’Brien was arrested and held on $2,000 cash bail.
Kimberlee J. O’Riordan, 48, of Laurel Street in Concord, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. on March 23, 2016, on two resisting arrest and two simple assault on a police officer charges. Officers were sent to Concord Hospital to assist with a protective custody case involving O’Riordan who reportedly had an alcohol level of 0.283. She reportedly stated that she had gone to the hospital for assistance but didn’t want to be PC’d, according to a court affidavit. She reportedly agreed and then asked the officer not to cuff her while walking out and the officer agreed, so long as she was cooperative. Everything was fine until they got to the police cruiser and the officer began to handcuff her, according to the report, when she allegedly became irate and started swearing. At one point, she allegedly threatened to “bite” an officer’s “f------ face off,” according to a court affidavit. While trying to get her into the cruiser, she allegedly kicked one officer and kneed another, according to the report. She was charged and then taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
David E. Austin, 20, of School Street in Loudon, was arrested at 12:21 p.m. on March 22, 2016, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest or detention, felony possession of controlled drugs, and default or breach of bail conditions. An officer on foot patrol on North Main Street saw a man riding a bicycle on the sidewalk and stopped him for questioning. The man reportedly didn’t have an ID but identified himself as Austin. A check yielded a nonappearance in Sixth District Court warrant on a controlled drugs-acts prohibited charge issued on Feb. 19, $250 cash bail. Austin allegedly told the officer that he didn’t miss court, that he had to take care of something, and would take care of it later. The officer told him he was being arrested and Austin dropped his bike and allegedly began running north on Main Street. The officer gave chase and during the process, Austin reportedly dropped his backpack and wouldn’t stop. He was nearly struck by a car reportedly crossing Main Street but was stopped near Phenix Avenue. The officer ordered him to get to the ground but he allegedly struggled and was taken down, according to a court affidavit. Other officers arrived to assist and Austin was taken to police headquarters. His backpack was retrieved and allegedly contained a hypodermic needle, a silver digital scale with white powder residue, a clear glass tube with burn marks, and a plastic bag with “Stay High” written on the side, according to the report. The bag field-tested positive for meth, according to police. Austin was also out of bail from a charge out of Laconia so he was held.
Michael Fortier, 30, of Clinton Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. on March 15, 2016, and charged with felony possession of controlled drugs, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, and two bench warrants. While working another case on South Street, officers saw Fortier and ran a check and found he had two bench warrants. He was arrested and during a search, police allegedly found methamphetamine in a Ziplock bag in this pocket as well as three white pills – Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride, for which he reportedly didn’t have a prescription, so the drug charges were added. He was held, according to a court affidavit.
