Stolen Pickup Leads to Habitual Offender, Cocaine Charges: Log
Concord Police: Homeless camper arrested on parole warrant, resisting and a Northfield man is arrested for stealing "The Waterboy" on DVD.

CONCORD, NH – Bulambo Dunia, 28, of Loudon Road in Concord, was arrested at 7:09 p.m. on May 3, 2016, on two simple assault charges from April 15, 2016, at the Morning Star Apartments on Loudon Road. The victims in the case were two female teenagers. Dunia was arrested at his home on a warrant. He has a due in court on June 13.

Bryon Ruff, 27, of West Joppa Road in Warner, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. on May 2, 2016, on driving after revocation or suspension and suspended registration charges from an alleged incident on Blackwater Road on April 14, 2016. Ruff turned himself in on a warrant and was arraigned on June 6.

Jeffrey M. Tucci, 43, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:35 a.m. on May 2, 2016, for felony habitual offender, felony possession of controlled drugs-cocaine, disobeying an officer, possession of drugs, and unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle. Police were sent to Shawmut Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. A man said he and his wife took in a man – Tucci – in an effort to help him get back up on his feet, since he was reportedly sleeping in his car. At around midnight the night before, the man heard their house door close and didn’t think anything of it at the time but when his wife got up at around 6 a.m., Tucci was reportedly not in his room and the man’s Ford F-150 pickup truck was missing. Dispatch reported that Tucci was currently a habitual offender. At around 9:30, the officer saw the pickup on East Side Drive and pulled it over. The driver reportedly gave a name of “Capriano” and said he had permission to use the truck. After some back and forth about whether or not he was given permission, he was arrested. In his right front pocket, the officer allegedly found a hypodermic needle, a piece of cotton, and a plastic cap with residue that field tested positive for cocaine, according to the report. Tucci was arrested and had a court date on June 6.

Kerry L. Persons, 64, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 1:10 p.m. on May 2, 2016, for felony theft by unauthorized taking from an alleged incident at the New Hampshire State Liquor and Wine Outlet on Nov. 13, 2015, allegedly involving the theft of a $12.99 bottle of Smirnoff Vodka. According to a history check, Persons was convicted on propelled vehicle and theft charges in Laconia in July 1987, and receiving stolen property charges in June 2002 in Carroll County and February 2010 in Rockingham Counties. She had a court date on May 3.
Tammy L. Court, 48, of Metalak Drive in Concord, was arrested at 1 a.m. on May 2, 2016, for suspended registration and operating without a valid license after a traffic stop at the intersection of Abbott and Wildflower for a suspended registration. She had a court date on June 6.
Walter I. Healey, 61, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. on April 29, 2016, for criminal trespass for allegedly being at the Market Basket on Storrs Street after being served a no trespass order from the store in January 2016. He was arrested, refused bail, and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
Thomas M. Pillsbury, 26, of Granite Street in Northfield, was arrested at 11:25 a.m. on April 29, 2016, on two theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges, one a felony, due to two prior convictions, at the Walmart on Loudon Road on April 14, and April 24, 2016. According to a court affidavit, officers were sent to the store for a report of a man reportedly taking DVDs off the shelf (“The Waterboy” and a two-DVD set featuring “Faster” and “The Mechanic”), walking to the men’s department, and taking the DVDs out of the packages, and stuffing them in his pocket. The man then left the store without paying for the items, according to the report. Employees approached him in the parking lot but he fled to the area around Toys R Us. One of the employees recognized the man to be Pillsbury, stating that she knew him “since he was 5-years-old,” according to the affidavit. The officer spoke to Pillsbury’s probation officer who stated that his ankle bracelet only tracked him when he left and entered his house. Pillsbury was previously convicted of shoplifting in Merrimack District Court in July 2008 and felony robbery, for robbing a Concord pharmacy, in U.S. District Court in December 2009. The officer filed an affidavit on April 24. Pillsbury was served at the Strafford County House of Corrections on April 29, where he was being held on a federal charge, according to an arrest report.
Michael D. Gruette, 38, of Ridge Road in Center Barnstead, was arrested at 6:53 p.m. on April 14, 2016, for possession of controlled drugs-methamphetamine and two warrants. Officers were sent to the Shaw’s Supermarket on Fort Eddy Road to speak to an employee about a harassment complaint. While there, the officer ran into Gruette and knew he had an active warrant. The officer spoke to Gruette, asked if he had any weapons – he reportedly did, a knife – and asked him to sit until the active warrant could be confirmed by dispatch. There were two active warrants, according to a court affidavit; one, for failure to appear in Merrimack Superior Court on a forgery charge, and a second one, on a felony burglary charge from an alleged incident at the Village at Thirty Pines on Borough Road on March 21, 2016. A second officer confiscated a cellphone from Gruette in order to apply for a search warrant on it. Inside of his baseball cap, police allegedly found a folded up check with a white, crystal substance consistence, which tested field positive for meth, according to the report. He refused bail and was held.
James L. Jones, 55, of Old Suncook Road in Concord, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on April 13, 2016, for felony habitual offender and conduct after an accident, from an alleged incident at the Cumberland Farms on Manchester Street on April 9, 2016. He turned himself in on a warrant and had a court date on May 23.
Michael K. Maurais, 54, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. on April 13, 2016, on a felony parole warrant, resisting arrest or detention, and criminal trespass. An officer on foot patrol behind the Granite Group on Storrs Street came across a campsite with two tents and a lot of trash. There was a man sleeping in one of the tents. The officer woke the man up and asked for ID. According to a court affidavit, the man reportedly said his name was “Michael Thomas” and provided a birthdate. Dispatch stated that the name was an alias for Maurais. While questioning the man, he allegedly fled from the area and was stopped about 30 feet away and arrested. He was held without bail.
