CONCORD, NH — A man from Vermont died after his pickup truck drove off an Interstate, struck a tree, and veered down an embankment into the Connecticut River on Tuesday.

Around 11:15 a.m., troopers from Troop F were called to Littleton for a report of a truck in the river. When troopers, firefighters, and others arrived, they found Joshua C. Casey, 44, of Concord, Vermont, had died after the 2018 Dodge Ram he was driving crashed. Investigators believe Casey drifted off the westbound side of the highway into a median before the crash.

Troopers were assisted by Littleton police, Vermont State Police, the Grafton County Sheriff’s Department, the NH Fish and Game Dive Team, Marine Patrol, and Littleton, Lisbon, Bath, Whitefield, Saint Johnsbury, VT, and Waterford VT fire departments. Vermont Trans, B & B Towing, and New Hampshire Department of Transportation also assisted.

Troopers were alerted to the incident — a vehicle stolen from a home, around 6 a.m. While en route, they found the vehicle matching the description on Interstate 95 north in Hampton Falls. A K-9 unit was requested to assist with the search the area. The right lane of the highway was closed for about 90 minutes during the incident.

A suspect, Anthony Bizzocchi, 42, of Eliot, ME, was found later and arrested. He faces theft by unauthorized taking, receiving stolen property, taking without an owner’s consent, criminal trespass, and breach of bail charges. He refused bail and was held.

State troopers were assisted by the Seabrook and Hampton police departments and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

State police requested anyone who may have information pertaining to the incident to contact the investigating trooper, Trooper Petros Lazos, at Petros.Lazos@dos.nh.gov.

NM Man Accused Of Having Fraudulent Docs

A man from New Mexico faces charges after being accused of using fraudulent documents while attempting to get a New Hampshire driver’s license and motor vehicle title.

Ron Henson, 61, was arrested on June 10 on unsworn falsification and tampering with public records. He was released on personal recognizance bail. Henson was arrested in Concord after state police were requested to investigate a possible counterfeit residential lease agreement used during the application process for both the license and title.

Henson is due in court on July 1.

Mark D. Puglisi, 41, of Dedham, Massachusetts, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. on June 12, 2022, on driving under the influence and reckless operation charges after an incident in North Hampton.

Jeffrey J. Phaneuf, 54, of Newton was arrested at 1:26 a.m. on June 12 on driving under the influence, violation of a protective order, and two breach of bail charges in Newton.

Robert L. Emmond, 43, of Farmington was arrested at 10:35 p.m. on June 11 on aggravated driving under the influence-30+ mph, reckless operation, and resisting arrest or detention charges in Dover.

Daniel P. Phelos, 31, of Rochester was arrested on a driving under the influence charge in Portsmouth at 11:05 a.m. on June 7.

Heather Duprey, 40, of Manchester was arrested at 11:55 a.m. on June 12 on driving after revocation or suspension charge and a “hands-free” second offense violation. Jonathan Amorella-Moore, 33, of Hudson was also arrested on a bench warrant. They were charged after an incident in Bedford.

Sebastian Diole, 23, of Manchester was arrested on driving under the influence and negligent driving charges in Manchester at 10:13 p.m. on June 11.

Ian Michael Doyle, 35, of Londonderry was arrested at 12:25 a.m. on June 11 on a driving under the influence charge. Also arrested was Demetrio A. Chalston, 37, of Manchester on a warrant and a possession of marijuana charge. They were charged in Windham.

Krishna Bahadur Baniya, 41, of Woodside, New York, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. on June 7 on driving under the influence and resisting arrest or detention charges in Manchester.

Robert Joseph Debenedetto III, 30, of Concord was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on June 7 on driving under the influence, driving after revocation or suspension, and operating without a valid license charges after an incident in Manchester.

Christian D. Carroll, 53, of Derry was arrested on a warrant at 6:01 p.m. on June 6 in Manchester.

A 15-year-old was arrested on a simple assault charge at noon on June 6 in Manchester.

Felicia Melina Berroa, 36, of Manchester was arrested at 7:17 p.m. on June 12 on aggravated driving under the influence-passenger under 16, driving under the influence, speeding-21 to 24 mph over the limit of 55 or less, and endangering the welfare of a child charges in Salisbury.

Scott T. Landers, 36, of North Andover, MA, was arrested at 6:21 p.m. on June 11 on a driving under the influence charge in Canterbury.

Cole Champion France, 24, of Hebron was arrested at 4:04 a.m. on June 11 on driving under the influence and reckless operation charges on June 11 in Tilton.

Tyler A. Desclos, 24, of Claremont was arrested at 10:07 p.m. on June 10 in Warner on a warrant.

Lloyd R. Marquez, 44, of Pembroke was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on June 9 on conduct after an accident and reckless operation charges.

Adolphe Ndayishimiye, 22, of Concord was arrested at 5:37 p.m. on June 9 on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge as well as a bench warrant in Concord.

Genice M. Littlefield, 34, of Manchester was arrested at 4:34 p.m. on June 9 on a possession of a controlled drug charge in Hopkinton.

Alexis Jesus Ramirez Villanueva, 23, of Houston, Texas, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. on June 9 in Concord for operating without a valid license and speeding-21 to 24 mph over the limit of 55 or less.

James Denis Avery, 24, of Belmont was arrested at 1:24 a.m. on June 9 on driving after revocation or suspension, driving without giving proof, and speeding-16 to 20 mph over the 65 limit charges in Bow.

Timothy Michael Thayer, 32, of Concord was arrested on a driving after revocation or suspension charge in Concord at 6:40 a.m. on June 8.

Dashan Hodge, 33, of Smithfield, Rhode Island, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on June 8 on speeding-11 to 15 mph over the 65 limit, driving after revocation or suspension, and operating without a valid license charges in Warner.
