Concord Police: Pills, crashes lead to DWI bust, elderly Iraqi allegedly slaps relative, warrant arrest made after loud cell call in garage.

CONCORD, NH - Joseph C. Bond, 28, of Carroll Drive in Westfield, MA, was arrested on Feb. 28, 2016, for driving while intoxicated. At just before 1:30 a.m., an officer on North Main Street reportedly saw a driver in a Jeep driving while looking down at his hand and thought he might be eyeing a cellphone while driving. The vehicle was pulled over and as the officer approached, he allegedly smelled alcohol coming from the vehicle. Bond reportedly denied looking at a cellphone but later, he allegedly admitted to texting and driving, according to a court affidavit. He agreed to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested. Bond allegedly refused a breath test, refused bail, and was held.

Ian A. Murray, 23, of Branch Turnpike in Concord, was arrested on Feb. 20, 2016, on a bench warrant out of Hooksett District Court from two days before. He was arrested at his apartment and due in court on April 5.

Joshua M. Smith, 21, of Woonasquatucket Avenue in North Providence, RI, was arrested on Feb. 12, 2016, on a bench warrant out of Franklin District Court from Feb. 8, for nonpayment of fines – $302.50 cash – on a simple assault charge. He was stopped on Loudon Road for a front registration plate violation and also cited for failure to display. Smith was scheduled to be in court on March 14.

Michael A. Davis, 47, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on Feb. 5, 2016, for false report to law enforcement from Dec. 3, 2015, at the Steeplegate Mall on Loudon Road. He’s due in court on March 28.
Chasib Aziz Al Hammadi, 69, of Cherry Street in Concord, was arrested on Jan. 30, 2016, for simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault. A relative alleged that Hammadi slapped him in the face after an argument about an apartment key. Hammadi allegedly stated, “I will kill you,” during the confrontation, according to an arrest report. When the man countered that he would call police, Hammadi allegedly struck him. The relative stated that Hammadi was not yet a citizen but had previously reportedly been violent with him in their native Iraq, allegedly putting a gun to his head and threatening to kill him when he was a child, according to the report. Hammadi, according to the report, denied doing anything wrong – repeatedly – and protested the allegation and the arrest. Hammadi and a witness reportedly “corroborated many of the details of the incident” sans the assault, according to the report.
David W. Partridge, 20, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on Jan. 29, 2016, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court on Jan. 27, for nonappearance in court. He was arrested after police were sent to the parking outside of BAM! for a report of panhandling and possible drug activity in a van. The officers spoke to everyone at the van and arrested Partridge on the warrant.
Levi S. Durgin, 36, of Rollins Street in Concord, was arrested on Jan. 28, 2016, on a warrant and felony felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. An officer saw Durgin walking near Wendy’s on Loudon Road and knew he had an active warrant for a parole violation. The officer spoke with him near the Buffalo Wild Wings and arrested him. During a pat down, he allegedly had a folding knife in his pocket. Durgin, according to a court affidavit, was convicted of a felony possession of controlled drug in October 2002.
Oliver W. Gonzales, 22, of Metalak Drive in Concord, was arrested on Jan. 18, 2016, on bench warrants out of Concord District Court for transportation of drugs and Lebanon District Court for driving after revocation or suspension. He was arrested at around 12:30 a.m. after an officer heard loud voices coming from the Firehouse Block Garage and went to investigate what was going on. The man was talking on a cellphone and allegedly refused to give the officer his name and started being uncooperative, according to the report. He also smelled like alcohol but, eventually, handed over his ID, was found to have the active warrants, and was arrested.
Sarah Bronner, 33, of Greenville, was arrested on Jan. 20, 2016, for driving while intoxicated and possession of prescription drugs without a prescription after an accident on South Main Street outside of O Steak and Seafood. A parking enforcement employee alleged that one of the drivers – Bronner – appeared to be “out of it.” The officer spoke to her and reported that her speech and movements were allegedly slow and lethargic, she had a hard time speaking, and keeping her eyes open. A witness alleged that Bronner had also been in an accident a few moments before at the Burger King on Hall Street. The witness alleged that after the crash, she “looked blank,” and “very out of it,” according to the report. Bronner was arrested and during a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly found a bottle of a generic version of Ambient on the floor of the vehicle. “On the label in bold letters it warned that one should not use with alcohol or drive a vehicle,” according to the report.
Christina F. Michaud, 29, of Jackson Street in Boscawen, was arrested on Jan. 10, 2016, for false fire alarm; aiding/abetting, simple assault, and domestic violence-simple assault after an alleged incident at The Friendly Kitchen on South Commercial Street on Jan. 3. According to a court affidavit, police and Concord Fire were sent to the soup kitchen after the alarm box was pulled. Two individuals were also seen fleeing the area. A witness alleged that the argument was about money. “(The witness) believed that Michaud wanted to buy drugs with the money,” according to a court affidavit. “(The witness) further told me that Michaud had been prostituting for drug money.” He also alleged that she was “out of control,” but didn’t want to pursue charges. The witness also alleged that she pulled the firebox. Officers caught up with Michaud on North State Street and she denied an assault or pulling the box. When told there was video at the soup kitchen, she reportedly continued to deny pulling the alarm. On Jan. 4, the officer obtained and eyed the security video and allegedly saw Michaud walk up to the fire alarm and pull it, according to a court affidavit. She was also allegedly seen grabbing the witness. A warrant was issued on Jan. 10, and Michaud was arrested and held on $2,000 cash bail.
