Girls From Bedford, Concord, Londonderry, Salem, Other Schools Are Heading To New England Championships

More than 60 wrestlers from 31 schools competed in bouts Friday afternoon. The top 2 finishers in 12 weight brackets head to Rhode Island.

CONCORD, NH — Two dozen girl wrestlers will be heading to the 2026 New England Interscholastic Wrestling Championship after battling at Pinkerton Academy in Derry on Friday afternoon.

More than 60 wrestlers from 31 schools competed in 12 weight brackets. The top two finishers in each bracket will go to the New England competition in Providence, Rhode Island.

Salem High School scored the most points, 108.5, with four first-place winners. Plymouth came in second with 77 points. Bedford placed third with 70. Goffstown had 58.5, and Winnisquam was fifth with 51. Londonderry came in seventh with 38, Souhegan was eighth with 29, Windham was ninth with 27.5, and Nashua South was 10th with 26.

100-pound bracket: 1st Ella Paris (Salem), 2nd Avery Hodgdon (Goffstown), 3rd Arabella Nunez (Plymouth), and 4th Charlotte Baker (Campbell).

107: 1s Kallie Chandler (Salem), 2nd Anna Drinkwine (Winnisquam), 3rd Yashi Bajpai (Bedford), and 4th Alyvia Meigh Schultz (Goffstown).

185: 1st Madison Beauregard (Concord), 2nd Jillian Boncore (Alvirne), and 3rd Aubrey Meyveagaci (Mascoma).

Girls from Exeter, Windham, Manchester Central and Memorial, Merrimack, and Portsmouth also participated in the tournament.

All of New Hampshire's girl wrestlers will be competing with more than 250 teams from around New England in the 2026 New England Interscholastic Girls Wrestling Championship on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, at the Providence Career & Technical Academy in Providence, RI.
