Girls From Bedford, Concord, Londonderry, Salem, Other Schools Are Heading To New England Championships

CONCORD, NH — Two dozen girl wrestlers will be heading to the 2026 New England Interscholastic Wrestling Championship after battling at Pinkerton Academy in Derry on Friday afternoon.

More than 60 wrestlers from 31 schools competed in 12 weight brackets. The top two finishers in each bracket will go to the New England competition in Providence, Rhode Island.

Salem High School scored the most points, 108.5, with four first-place winners. Plymouth came in second with 77 points. Bedford placed third with 70. Goffstown had 58.5, and Winnisquam was fifth with 51. Londonderry came in seventh with 38, Souhegan was eighth with 29, Windham was ninth with 27.5, and Nashua South was 10th with 26.

107: 1s Kallie Chandler (Salem), 2nd Anna Drinkwine (Winnisquam), 3rd Yashi Bajpai (Bedford), and 4th Alyvia Meigh Schultz (Goffstown).

114: 1st Adrie Reeves (Goffstown), 2nd Meury Navarrete (Nashua South), 3rd Layla Hatch (Mascoma Valley), and 4th Jenhedy Mendez (Salem).

120: 1st Grace Kenna (Bedford), 2nd Ellis Pietroniro (Plymouth), 3rd Emily Ziriak (Souhegan), and 4th Giselle Barrera (Goffstown).

126: 1st Casey Pietroniro (Plymouth), 2nd Isabelle Boisvert (Bedford), 3rd Genevieve Snell (Windham), and 4th Isabella Ericcson (ConVal).

132: 1st Ganel Gotay (Salem), 2nd Audrey Shaw (Bedford), and 3rd Amelia Collins (Alvirne).

138: 1st Keira Lynch (Salem), 2nd Summer Callahan (Pinkerton), 3rd Ava Burbee (Souhegan), and 4th Tegan Hershey (Plymouth).

145: 1st Kyra Russell (Winnisquam), 2nd Fira Shaffer (Londonderry), 3rd Leila Garcia (Salem), and 4th Amber Wong (Nashua South).

152: 1st Mackenzie Lacoss (Spaulding), 2nd Claire Tillman (Londonderry), 3rd Claire Thurlow (Exeter), and 4th Phoebe Timmons (Winnisquam).

165: 1st Sadie Nadeau (Spaulding), 2nd Samantha Bennett (Windham), 3rd Ayla Saeturn (Bishop Guertin), and 4th Mya Coombs (Milford).

185: 1st Madison Beauregard (Concord), 2nd Jillian Boncore (Alvirne), and 3rd Aubrey Meyveagaci (Mascoma).

235: 1st Sophia Domitrovich (Keene) and 2nd Scarlett Shannon (Plymouth).

Girls from Exeter, Windham, Manchester Central and Memorial, Merrimack, and Portsmouth also participated in the tournament.

All of New Hampshire's girl wrestlers will be competing with more than 250 teams from around New England in the 2026 New England Interscholastic Girls Wrestling Championship on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, at the Providence Career & Technical Academy in Providence, RI.
