Lewis D. Jenna Jr., 41, of Hall Street in Concord was arrested at 5:10 p.m. on Feb. 26 on a breach of bail and three felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent charges. An officer on patrol of Manchester Street saw two men on bikes ride into a storage area on Manchester Street. The men, the officer wrote, “appeared to be looking around.” The officer turned around to investigate and accused the men of eyeing electronics and metal vehicle parts on the east side of a building. The officer spoke with the men and immediately recognized Jenna from previous contacts. A check found he had an active warrant out of Strafford County Superior Court on a receiving stolen property charge and he was arrested. During a search, the officer accused Jenna of being in possession of a clear bag in his front pant pocket with four smaller baggies inside. Two were empty, one looked like it had crystal meth in it, and the other had a tan powder consistent with heroin-fentanyl, an affidavit stated. The officer accused Jenna of having syringes in his backpack, too, as well as a burnt spoon. He was taken to police headquarters for booking where the crystal was field-tested and confirmed to be meth, the report stated. During an interview, Jenna admitted the drugs were meth and fentanyl-heroin, the affidavit stated. Since he was out on bail after being arrested in December 2021, a breach charge was added. Jenna was taken to the county jail and during intake, staffers found an unopened suboxone buprenorphine and naloxone film that he did not have a prescription for, an affidavit said.
