CONCORD, NH — Nyabunguye "Eric" Tembasi, 27, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 3:50 p.m. on Feb. 24, 2020, on simple assault, resisting arrest or detention, and two criminal trespass charges. Officers were sent to Regency Hill Estates on East Side Drive after Tembasi was accused of being on the property after previously being served a trespass notice banning him from the complex, according to an affidavit. The complainant reported a man was chasing Tembasi. Not long after the initial call, officers were told Tembasi was at the Morning Star Condominium complex, another apartment building he has been trespassed from, around the corner from Regency Hill Estates. The reporting officer was familiar with Tembasi "due to past arrests," she wrote. Dispatch double-checked that Tembasi was trespassed from both complexes and confirmed he was, according to an affidavit. At Morning Star, children playing behind a building told an officer that Tembasi was inside of one of the buildings, the report stated. He was reportedly found in the first floor of the building. The reporting officer said posters of Tembasi's picture were placed at both complexes telling residents to call police if they saw him, due to active sexual assault and other charges. When officers tried to put him into a cruiser, he reportedly refused and spat in an officer's face, the affidavit claimed. He was held without bail.
