CONCORD, NH — Nicole Flood, 31, of North Main Street in Concord was arrested at 4:46 p.m. on Dec. 26 on a bench warrant as well as theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000, receiving stolen property-less than $1,000, and breach of bail charges. An officer was sent to the Dollar General on Fisherville Road for a report of a theft. The calling party, according to an affidavit, identified the suspect as Flood. Officers began searching the northern part of the city and one officer made contact with a woman who looked like Flood on Amy Way. Another officer arrived and confirmed it was her, the report said. A check yielded an electronic bench warrant out of Manchester District Court on a willful concealment charge from Dec. 17, 2020, and she was arrested. A search yielded Sour Patch Kids, a Red Bull, and pair of sneakers that "Nicole was wearing" that "still had a price tag on them," the affidavit said. When speaking to the officer, the report said, Flood denied stealing the sneakers but admitted to the theft of the candy and Red Bull. Since she was out on bail due to other charges, a breach charge was added and she was held without bail.
