MANCHESTER, CT — The latest trek to a Hidden Gem in Hartford and Tolland counties goes over the river and through the woods to a secluded part of Manchester, where a ropes course is making a comeback from the coronavirus pandemic.

The Manchester Ropes Challenge Course reopened this year after a pandemic-related the lockdown and is again offering the rare opportunity for people to try a high-ropes climb.

Typically, climbing is reserved for groups and organizations who have gone through our team-building and empowerment programs, but anyone and everyone can try it out.

On Oct. 23, members of the public can come to the course and play. Organizers are asking for a small donation that will be used to help revitalize the course.

The course is also in need of some help from the community on a few beautification tasks.
