Franklin Man Indicted On 7 Second-Degree Assault Counts: Court Roundup

Weare man indicted on theft charges; Manchester woman indicted on mislaid property charge; drug indictments out of Hooksett, Northfield.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Makeeva Laroche, 22, of Hope Avenue in Concord, on attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal threatening, reckless conduct, attempted first-degree assault, felonious use of a firearm, and two falsifying physical evidence charges, all felonies. He agreed with Saige Laroche to rob a teenager of marijuana in Rollins Park on Oct. 7, 2024, which led to an exchange of gunfire, according to indictments. Makeeva Laroche was accused of hiding firearms in a shed on Fellows Street after the shooting. Denise Lyford, unknown age, of Opal Avenue in Portsmouth, on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge on Oct. 23, 2023, in Hooksett. Previously, she was convicted within the controlled drug act, according to the indictment.

Troy L. Maloney, 33, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke, on a felony operating after certification as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Route 28 in Pittsfield on Dec. 23, 2024, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV in June 2023.

Stephen P. Moyen, 57, of East Lake Road in Fitzwilliam, on receiving stolen property and anti-theft laws, offense, penalties charges, both felonies. He was accused of obtaining or retaining a 2017 motorhome belonging to a woman on May 9, 2024, in Concord, and filing a false statement of certificate title.

Seth Neal, 43, of Webster Street in Laconia, on possession of meth and possession of fentanyl charges, both felonies, in Northfield on Oct. 12, 2024.

Christopher Nedeau, 33, of Franklin, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on seven felony second-degree assault charges. He was accused of striking an intimate partner, causing a rib fracture and a fracture to her nasal bone, and strangling her on Sept. 1, 2024, in Franklin.

Amy Ottman, 49, of West Hancock Street in Manchester, on a felony theft of lost or mislaid property charge. She was accused of obtaining a stolen wristlet owned by another woman in Hooksett on Dec. 1, 2024.

Haeliton Pancine, 38, of Monroe Avenue in Allenstown, on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Allenstown on Sept. 25, 2024.

Tyler J. Payne, 39, of Arthur Road in Weare, on attempted theft by deception and two theft by unauthorized taking charges, all felonies. He was accused of stealing and trying to return stolen merchandise from Petco in Concord on May 15, 2024. On June 2, 2023, according to the indictment, Payne stole merchandise from Lowe’s in Concord. Twice before, the indictment said, he has been convicted of theft.

Janice M. Pickering, 35, of West River Road in Hooksett, on a felony possession of meth charge on July 30, 2024, in Hooksett.
