Woman Indicted On Concord, Chichester Meth Sale Charges: Court Roundup
Man indicted on attempted gun theft charge; woman indicted on liquor theft, witness tampering charges; woman faces fentanyl in jail charge.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Clarisa Haas, 28, of Cedar Street in Berlin, on a felony delivery of articles prohibited-fentanyl charge. She was accused of possessing the drug in the Merrimack County Jail in Boscawen on Nov. 14, 2024.
Christopher Hayward, 45, of Vine Street in Northfield, on two attempted escape and two assault by prisoners charges, all felonies. He was accused of attempting to escape the custody of Northfield police by running into two police officers after he forced a holding cell door open and tried to leave and assaulting three officers by striking them with his body on Sept. 17, 2024, in Northfield.

Paul Hickey, 35, of Amory Street in Manchester, on a felony operating while deemed a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Hooksett Road in Hooksett on Oct. 19, 2024, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
Maylon Benjamin Bernard Holgun, 22, of Beech Street in Manchester, on a felony attempted theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of removing a tag from a handgun and concealing it at Shooters Outpost in Hooksett on Aug. 20, 2024.

Casey Hynes, 33, of Loudon Road in Concord, on a felony operating as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving a Honda Accord on Loudon Road in Concord on Aug. 31, 2024, after being certified as a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Stuart McKenzie, 37, of Alton Woods Drive in Concord, on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on Water Street in Concord on Aug. 5, 2024, after being certified as a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
Troy L. Maloney Jr., 33, of Pembroke Street in Pembroke, on a felony operating after certification as a habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving a Kawasaki motorcycle on Suncook Valley Road in Pittsfield on Oct. 24, 2024, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV in June 2023.
Charles Edward Mitchell, 55, of Dunbar Hill Road in Grantham, on two possession of a controlled drug-subsequent offense, methamphetamine and fentanyl, both felonies, on Jan. 30, 2024, in New London. He was convicted previously on an acts prohibited charge in February 2018 in Sullivan County Superior Court, according to the indictments.
Rebecca L. Motta, 36, of Willis Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on witness tampering and organized retail crime enterprise charges, both felonies. She and Chelsea Golan removed merchandise from two New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet stores in Concord on June 4, 2023, according to the indictment. The tampering charge involved Motta attempting to induce Golan to testify or inform falsely by stating to her, “They’re going to ask you who you were with. Make sure you say her name is Jessica, and she’s from Boston or Florida” or words to that effect, according to the indictment. James S. Nelson, 63, of South Main Street in Franklin, on a felony possession of meth charge on May 21, 2024, in Northfield.
Derek Noble, 42, of Back River Road in South Royalton, Vermont, on possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl and possession of a controlled drug-meth charges, both felonies, on Aug. 18, 2023, in Hooksett.
Jamie Prentice, 27, of Concord Gardens in Concord, on two sale of meth felony counts out of Chichester on Aug. 2, 2024, and possession of meth with intent to distribute on Old Turnpike Road in Concord on June 10, 2024. She was accused of selling to an undercover police officer in Chichester. At the time, Prentice was out on bail after being charged with possession in July 2024.
