The officer viewed surveillance footage at the store and accused Muzzey of walking "within a close proximity" of the woman in the aisle. The officer first thought the pass by was "inadvertent" until she kept watching and "several seconds later, I observed Muzzey turn around and walk in the direction of (the woman)." The officer checked the stalking order paperwork, issued out of Hillsborough District Court, and saw it was active through August 2021. The officer called Muzzey and in the affidavit, she claimed he admitted to being inside the store and coming in contact with the woman — but said it was inadvertent and he immediately left the area. The officer informed Muzzey she had reviewed surveillance footage and saw him walk away but immediately turn around.
