Boscawen Man Indicted In Strangulation, Witness Tampering Case: Court
Plus: Concord man indicted on burglary, stolen vehicle charges; Nashua man faces ID, forgery charges from 2014; drug, theft indictments.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.
John Regan, 47, of Post Road in Wells, Maine, on a felony operating while certified as a habitual offender charge in Concord on Nov. 23, 2021.
Jason Reinold, 46, of Robin Shore Drive in Canterbury on a felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine-subsequent charge on Staniels Road in Loudon on Jan. 15. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted on a control of premises charge in Merrimack County Superior Court in May 2020.

Jonathan Ruharuka, 20, of Concord Gardens in Concord on burglary and receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. He was accused of burglarizing an East Side Drive apartment and stealing keys to retain a motor vehicle on Jan. 8 in Concord. Elinson Ruiz Pena, 35, of Temple Street in Nashua on two counts of identity fraud and two counts of forgery, all felonies. He was accused of making a record change request with the NH DMV to become someone else to facilitate fraud and obtain money, credit, and goods on March 13, 2014, in Concord.

Brandon Sargent, 24, of Munroe Street in Franklin on a felony operating as a habitual offender charge on Monroe Street in Franklin on Feb. 17. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted on a habitual offender charge in Merrimack County Superior Court in December 2009.
Joseph Schultz, 28, of Chandler Street in Boscawen on assault by prisoners, domestic violence-second-degree assault, and four tampering with witnesses and informants charges, all felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Concord on Dec. 2, 2021, and between Dec. 6, and Dec. 10, 2021, of attempting to encourage the victim to withhold info that could be used in the case against him, telling her to tell the police to “f--- off,” suggesting they go to trial because she wouldn’t testify against him, and to recant her, according to the indictment. Schultz was also accused of assaulting a person at the Merrimack County House of Corrections in Boscawen on Jan. 10.
Colton Squeglia, 25, of Manchester Street in Concord on possession of fentanyl, possession of meth, and possession of crack cocaine charges, all felonies, at the Quality Inn in Loudon on Jan. 24.
Brittany Sprague, 33, of Andrew Street in Manchester on a felony possession of fentanyl charge on April 18, 2021, in Bow.
Matthew Story, 37, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from CVS in Concord on March 17 after twice before being convicted on theft charges.
Shawn Sullivan, 27, of Glenn Drive in Allenstown on second-degree assault, reckless conduct, and conduct after an accident charges, all felonies. He was accused of striking another person with a motor vehicle causing an accident and injury and failing to stop and leave his information or report it to police on Jan. 4 in Allenstown.
Jessica Briggs, 35, of Spring Street in Franklin on possession of fentanyl and possession of meth charges, both felonies, on Dec. 8, 2021, in Franklin.
Ryan Brooks, 27, of Lincoln Street in Manchester on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing items from Walmart on Feb. 24 after twice before being convicted on theft charges.
