Penacook Man Faces Strangulation, Other Charges: Concord Cop Log

Woman Tased after early morning disorderly call at hotel; convicted rapist accused of failing to register again; woman charged with assault.

CONCORD, NH — Alfred J. Morin, 37, of Franklin received a summons at 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2021, on a theft by unauthorized taking charge, less than $1,000, after an incident at Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road.

Scott Underhill, born 1979, of Salisbury was cited at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 on a bench warrant at police headquarters.

Joseph F. Schultz, 27, of Penacook was arrested at 2:49 a.m. on Dec. 3 on second-degree assault-domestic violence and second-degree assault-strangulation, both felonies, as well as simple assault, domestic violence-simple assault, obstruct report of crime-injury, and two criminal mischief charges. He was arrested after an incident on Canoe Drive.

Wayne J. Chagnon, born 1978, of Concord was arrested at 8:41 p.m. on Dec. 1 on a warrant after an incident at the Best Western on Hall Street.

Kalynn Jolee Demers, born 2001, of Glendale, Arizona, received a summons at 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 on an operating with an expired license charge after an incident on Hall Street.

Rodney J. Moody, 51, of Concord was arrested at 4:27 p.m. on Nov. 27 on a resisting arrest or detention and felony sex offender registry; knowing failure to comply charges after an incident on the railroad tracks under the Interstate 393 bridge. He was arraigned on Nov. 29 and is due back in superior court for a review hearing on Jan. 12, 2022. Moody was convicted on rape charges in the 1990s.

Colin P. White, 31, of Concord, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. on Nov. 25 on two breach of bail charges after an incident on Thompson Street.

Daniel James Rattigan, born 1990, of Concord was arrested at 6:04 p.m. on Nov. 23 on a warrant. He was arrested after an incident on Lawrence Street.

Rosana K. Andrews, born 1989, of Concord was arrested at 1:49 p.m. on Nov. 22 on simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault charges. She was arrested after an incident on Washington Street in Penacook.

Charlotte Marie Gonsalves, 30, of North Main Street in Concord, was arrested at 4:45 a.m. on Nov. 21 on simple assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest or detention charges. Officers were sent to the Best Western on Hall Street for a disturbance call involving an intoxicated woman who was “yelling very loudly.” The officer learned the hotel room in question was visited by another officer earlier due to a domestic dispute that was resolved later. A staffer said a man and woman were arguing in the lobby and then, returned to their room. The officer went to speak with the pair and during interaction with both of them, accused Gonsalves of yelling incoherently, crying, and refusing to calm down. The officer warned her she would be arrested for disorderly conduct if she did not stop screaming but that did not deter her in “in the least,” the officer wrote. The officer went to take Gonsalves into custody on a conduct charge and she was accused of walking away from the officer while continuing to yell. The officer threatened to Tase her and she said, “Come f------ Tase me, you f------ f-----,” the affidavit said. Gonsalves was accused of struggling while the officers attempted to handcuff her, the report said. They then stepped away from her and gave her another warning, the affidavit said. Gonsalves was accused of charging the reporting officer and continuing to call them derogatory names and she was Tased. She was handcuffed and escorted to a police cruiser while Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to check her out medically. Witness statements were gathered from other hotel guests who thanked officers for removing the woman so they could sleep, the report stated. Gonsalves refused treatment and was held without bail.

Charlene M. Vien, 46, of Pittsburg was arrested at 2:32 p.m. on Nov. 20 on a warrant after an incident on Pembroke Road.

Kevin Donald McFetridge Jr., 21, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 7:59 p.m. on Nov. 17 on felony drug possession, receiving stolen property, less than $1,000, and breach of bail charges after an incident at Domino’s Pizza on North Main Street as well as a receiving stolen property, less than $1,000 charge, after an incident on South Main Street. In the South Main Street case, a complainant called police on Nov. 11 to report items stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on South Main Street. The woman stated the SUV was in a garage for about three and a half hours. Later, she found a lighter, cigarettes, and coins, that were hers, in a stairwell. She also reported a spare key stolen, the affidavit stated. The officer contacted Concord Hospital which oversees the security of the garage. Security told police they had received a report about a person looking inside vehicles and gave a description of the person and what they were wearing. A few days later, McFetridge was arrested on a burglary charge. He matched the description of the suspect rifling through the vehicles, an affidavit stated. The officer also found out that items in a backpack in his possession included items with the complainant’s name. A warrant was then issued for his arrest.
