Concord Police Log: Family Members Get into Fight at Veanos
Plus, woman arrested on numerous theft felony counts; homeless woman charged with stealing aspirin; speeding leads to driving arrest.

Jessica M. Whitley, 28, of North Emperor Drive in Concord, was arrested at 10:35 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2014, and charged with two counts of organized retail crime enterprise, six counts of theft by deception, attempted theft by deception, and two counts of conspiracy to commit theft, all felonies, from incidents in January 2014, at Old Navy, Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target. She’s due in court on Feb. 2.
Lindsay M. Leclerc, 21, of Clinton Street in Concord, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. on Dec. 29, on a receiving stolen property charge from the Walmart on Loudon Road on Sept. 22, 2014. An officer was sent to Clinton Street for a civil issue between a couple and another woman about money owed and held items. A check of Leclerc yielded a warrant and she was arrested. She’s due in court on Feb. 9.
Crystal M. Ellison, 33, a homeless woman now located in Concord, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. on Dec. 26, for felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (due to two previous misdemeanor convictions). An officer was sent to the CVS on Hall Street for a report of a shoplifter who had left the store. The officer took down the description and headed to the area and reportedly saw the woman walking on South Main Street. The woman, Ellison, was stopped outside of McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street. At first, Ellison allegedly denied being the woman at the CVS. Another officer went to CVS to pick up an employee and drive her to the scene to ID Ellison. A consent search of her bag yielded a bottle of Excedrin that she allegedly stole from the store. Previously, Ellison was convicted of theft in March 2001, and October 2001, in Sullivan County.

David King, 60, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 3 p.m. on Dec. 26, for consumption of liquor on private property. Officers were sent to Market Basket on Storrs Street for a man down. The man, King, was allegedly intoxicated and had an open bottled of vodka near where he passed out. There was allegedly another open bottled of vodka in his pocket. He was transported to Concord Hospital and given a summons later.
Wayne R. Eastman, 66, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. on Dec. 25, on a bench warrant. An officer was called to the Hess gas station on North Main Street for a report of a fight with a man bleeding from the head. The officer later spoke to some of the individuals hanging out by the dumpster and one, Eastman, had a warrant out of Concord District Court for nonappearance on Dec. 5, 2014, on a criminal trespass charge, $1,000 cash bail.

Ashley-Ann E. Mullen, 23, a homeless woman now located in Ashland, was arrested at 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 26, for two felony forgery counts at the Bank of America on Storrs Street. An officer met with a woman on May 15, 2014, about seven forged checks in the amount of $1,100 made out to “Jesse W. James” for “work,” that she didn’t issue in April. The woman stated that she keeps her checkbook in her car but when she saw all the money withdrawn, she realized the checkbook was missing. On Aug. 5, 2014, the officer viewed bank statements and ATM video of the checks cashed after requesting and receiving a grand jury subpoena. The officer alleged that James and Mullen were seen on the video; Mullen allegedly filling out the checks and James allegedly depositing them in his account. James then allegedly withdrew cash from his account. On Oct. 24, 2014, an affidavit was filed. Mullen was arrested by the Ashland Police Department and transported to Tilton for prisoner exchange. She gave a statement and was held on $1,000 cash bail.
Jeffrey J. Kablik, 45, of Thorndike Street in Concord, received a summons at 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 24, for the passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle while outside of the Buffalo Wild Wings on Loudon Road.
Andreas Georgopoulos, 23, of Route 129 in Loudon, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on Dec. 23, for simple assault. An officer was sent to Heartwood Lane to speak to a subject about a past tense assault at Veanos Restaurant on Manchester Street. The victim alleged that he and his brother were arguing at the family restaurant and during the argument, threatened to call police if he hit him. While standing in the kitchen, Georgopoulos reportedly became angry and struck his brother twice. Georgopoulos then allegedly “grabbed him by the bottom rear and top front of his shirt and threw him to the other side of the kitchen where the rear door was,” according to the report. Two other family members broke up the fight; a waitress was also interviewed as a witness to the altercation. One witness stated that Georgopoulos allegedly said, “You need to get (him) out of here before I kill him,” before the fight started. Georgopoulos later allegedly admitted to the reporting officer that the two got into an altercation because the other brother “had been antagonizing him.” He denied it was physical and then alleged that the brother struck him first. After talking to witnesses again, Georgopoulos was re-interviewed and agreed to come to the station. The officer alleged that he didn’t show up, at first, but later, arrived and was arrested. Georgopoulos is due in court on Feb. 2.
Anthony J. Demiles, 42, of Meetinghouse Hill Road in Deerfield, was arrested at 6:37 p.m. on Dec. 23, for driving after revocation or suspension after a traffic stop on North Main Street for not having the vehicle’s lights on. Demiles had both a suspended from Connecticut and New Hampshire. He’s due in court on Feb. 2.
Rocco V. Sfara, 39, of North State Street in Concord, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. on Dec. 23, on a bench warrant. An officer met with Sfara about a forgery case reportedly involving his ex who allegedly signed and cashed his unemployment check while he was incarcerated. A check yielded a warrant for nonpayment of fine on a disorderly conduct charge out of Concord District Court from Dec. 12, 2014. He’s due in court on Feb. 8.
Robert A. Michaud, 53, of Perley Street in Concord, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. on Dec. 23, on a default or breach of bail conditions charge. An officer was sent to Merrimack County Pre-Trial Services for a director alleging that Michaud came in for his check-in intoxicated. He was out on bail on a resisting charge from earlier in the month and was supposed to remain sober. He allegedly admitted to drinking heavily the night before and might still be drunk, so he was arrested.
Richard A. Stebbins, 39, of South Street in Concord, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 19, for suspended registration after seeing a speeding Honda Accord on Thorndike Street. The officers approached Stebbins after he pulled into his driveway and arrested. His registration was suspended on Nov. 6, 2014.
Heather E. Smith, 30, of North Main Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on Dec. 18, for possession of drugs and possession of controlled drugs. An officer pulled over a 2012 Toyota Prius on North Main Street that was slowing drifting back and forth in the travel lane and over the double yellow line on North State Street. The vehicle was pulled over and the officer alleged that when he approached the vehicle, he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. After some questioning, Smith allegedly pulled a red cloth bag from the center console containing two glass smoking pipes and she was arrested.
Joshua A. Knight, 35, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 10:10 a.m. on Dec. 17, on a theft charge from Cumberland Farms on North Main Street on Nov. 29, 2014. Knight was arrested after a traffic stop on North Main Street for pulling out of a parking space and crossing over the double yellow line.
