CONCORD, NH — A man from Goffstown was accused of fleeing from New Hampshire State Police after a traffic violation, striking a cruiser, and being caught by a K-9 unit on Friday.

Around 12:15 a.m., a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for a stop sign violation at the end of the Interstate 89 north offramp at Exit 1 in Bow. The driver, later identified as Richard M. Greeley, 48, of Goffstown, was accused of failing to stop. The trooper turned on lights and sirens, but Greeley drove away, increasing the vehicle’s speed while also exhibiting lane control issues, a report stated. The trooper pursued the vehicle on several Bow roads until Greeley hit a dead-end road in a residential neighborhood, the report said. Greeley was then accused of putting his vehicle in reverse and striking the trooper cruiser.

Greeley exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the area, the report said, but he was quickly caught by “Ragnar,” an NHSP K-9 unit.
