Eric Mandigo, 40, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 10:25 p.m. on Oct. 2 on two warrants and a resisting arrest or detention charge. An officer on Storrs Street saw a man jaywalking in front of their cruiser. The man looked at the cruiser and then, began to jog away, according to the officer. “When the male looked at me, I recognized him immediately as Eric Mandigo,” the officer stated in an affidavit, due to “numerous arrests and interactions.” Mandigo, the report said, had active warrants, too. “I yelled, ‘Eric, don’t run, you have warrants,'” the officer stated, accusing Mandigo of running south. The officer turned his cruiser around and chased after him but accused Mandigo of continuing to run, this time, north. A sergeant came to the area to assist and, when searching, they heard noises in bushes on the west side of state property. When requested to come out, Mandigo refused, the officer said. The sergeant found him and requested he come out of the bushes. At first, he refused but later, he did come out, the affidavit said. Dispatch confirmed Mandigo had two no bail warrants out of Merrimack County, he was arrested, and then taken to the county jail. According to the superior court, he failed to appear in superior court on Sept. 27 at both a dispositional conference on two felony drug possession charges out of Concord from July and a probation violation hearing after pleading guilty to possession-sale of narcotic drug out of Concord in May.
