Northam Plans To Extend Order For Non-Essential Business Closures
As the end date approaches for the Gov. Ralph Northam's order that closed non-essential recreation and entertainment businesses, the governor plans to extend the date. Northam has not set an end date for that extension, but an announcement is expected Wednesday.
Virginia Pastor Dies After Testing Positive For Coronavirus
A Richmond-area pastor died from COVID-19, the illness caused by the coronavirus, on the day before Easter. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Bishop Gerald Glenn was the well-known founder and pastor of New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Chesterfield since 1995. The pastor had given a sermon to members before a state order banning gatherings of more than 10 people. The church said Glenn died Saturday, April 11.

Osbourn High School Tentatively Schedules July Graduation
Osbourn High School has tentatively scheduled its graduate ceremony for July 18 as it continues to monitor developments in the new coronavirus pandemic and adhere to guidelines put in place by the governor.
7 Fairfax County Fire And Rescue Members Positive For Coronavirus
The Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department reported Tuesday seven of its members tested positive for the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19 illness. Of the seven members, two have recovered and five remain positive for the new coronavirus.

Fresh Market To Require Customers To Wear Face Coverings In NoVA
The Fresh Market, an upscale grocery store chain with two Northern Virginia locations, will require customers to wear face coverings due to the new coronavirus outbreak. The requirement is already in effect for workers, and customers will need to wear face coverings starting on Tuesday, April 14.
