FLORIDA — Gunfire dominated the news this week as a sheriff's deputy escaped certain death due to his bullet-proof vest, a stray shot from a drive-by shooting struck the door of a middle school, a father and son were arrested after shooting at a woman in her car who they mistakenly thought was trying to break into their apartment and detectives are investigating three separate shootings of teens, two of which died and the third is in critical condition.
