Penacook Man Indicted On 3 Second-Degree Assault Charges: County Superior Court Roundup
Dover thief accused of backpack theft from Planet Fitness; New London woman indicted on stolen vehicle charges; habitual offenders indicted.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Kevin P. Bemis, 41, of Dubuque Street in Manchester, on a felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-methamphetamine charge in Hooksett on May 9. Previously, he was convicted of acts prohibited in Hillsborough County Superior Court North in January 2018.
Kaylah Bickford, 37, of Hampshire Circle in Dover, on a theft by unauthorized taking, a felony due to two prior convictions. She was accused of taking another woman’s backpack from the client storage area of Planet Fitness in Concord on Oct. 20, 2023. Bickford has been convicted of theft twice before.

Jade Brayshaw, 37, of King Hill Road in New London, on two felony receiving stolen property charges. She was accused of disposing of a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro and 1953 Ford Jubilee Tractor that she knew to be stolen in New London on Jan. 3.
Megan L. Brown, 32, of West Bow Street in Franklin, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl charge on Aug. 5, 2023, in Franklin.

Matthew Burke, 24, of Village Street in Penacook, on three felony second-degree assault charges. He was accused of strangling and pushing a woman’s face into a pillow on a bed and cushion on a couch on Feb. 4, 2023, in Concord.
Timothy Burnett, 38, of Shaker Road in Concord, on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine on April 6 and July 1 in Concord.
Brittany Chenette, 36, of Massabesic Street in Manchester, on a felony operate after certified as habitual offender charge. She was accused of driving on Main Street in Allenstown on March 1 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
Adam J. Collins, 35, of Railroad Avenue in Alton Bay, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing $38 worth of merchandise from Maxfield’s Hardware in Pittsfield on Aug. 5. Twice before, Collins has been convicted on theft charges — in Rochester District Court in January 2009 and Merrimack County Superior Court in July 2010.
Ricky Comtois, 56, of Fairway Drive in Merrimack, on a felony operate after certified as habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving a Ford Fusion on Interstate 93 in Concord on June 28 after being certified as a habitual offender.
Vincent Cormier, 50, a homeless man now located in Concord, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-crack cocaine on April 11 in Concord.
Sarah Coulter, 33, of Lakeview Drive in Strafford on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge on Bog Road in Concord on May 19 after being certified as a habitual offender by the NH DMV.
