Brittany Silva Utor, 31, of Warren Street in Concord was arrested at 1:38 a.m. on Aug. 5 on stalking and two breach of bail charges. Officers were sent to the area of Warren and North State streets for a report of a domestic incident with a witness hearing a woman screaming. Based on the area of the call, an officer and sergeant suspected it might be an apartment they had been to before related to priors involving Utor. Officers, an affidavit noted, also were called to a local hotel earlier in the evening concerning an incident with Utor. While searching the area, another call to police was made about a woman walking near the Concord YMCA building who matched Utor's description. The officer and sergeant went to a Warren Street apartment building, reported smelling alcohol in the hallway, and saw clothing and other items thrown on the floor in front of the apartment door. "I heard someone moving inside and knocked on the door, but received no response," the officer wrote. "I ultimately located Brittany next to (a) North State Street (building) as she was attempting to flee out the back of (the) Warren Street (apartment)." Utor, the officer wrote, denied being in an apartment she was ordered to stay away from "but later admitted that she got into a verbal altercation" with a man outside his apartment. The officer accused Utor of smelling like alcohol, double-checked her bail status, and found she was not to have contact with the man and not to be consuming alcohol, the report said. She was arrested and held without bail.
