Concord Residents, Others Indicted On Felony Drug Charges: Roundup

Plus, Franklin man indicted for second-degree assault, alleged meth dealer indicted, and Concord woman indicted for welfare fraud.

CONCORD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Brian Sanborn, 52, of Victory Drive in Franklin, for felony second-degree assault for allegedly strangling a woman on April 19, 2017, in Franklin.

Rocco Sfara, 42, pictured upper left, of Blake Street in Concord, for felony possession of a controlled drug-cocaine allegedly on March 24, 2017, on Blake Street in Concord.

Justin Sowa, 27, of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for sale of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, conspiracy to sell a controlled drug-methamphetamine, and possession of a narcotic drug-fentanyl. The possession charge stems from an alleged incident on the Londonderry Turnpike in Hooksett on March 3, 2017. The meth sale charge stems from an alleged incident on March 21, 2017, on Christian Avenue in Concord. The conspiracy charge was based on an incident where Margaret Carrano allegedly accepted money to buy the drug and then he provided it to the officer, according to the indictment. At the time the Concord incidents, Sowa was out on bail by the Merrimack County Superior Court from March 6, from a sale of a controlled drug charge. Samantha Stanford, 25, of Concord Gardens in Concord, for felony possession of a controlled drug-methamphetamine allegedly on Jan. 29, 2017, in Pittsfield.

Jonathan Stankatis, 40, of Mount Tugg Trail in Northfield, for felony possession of a controlled drug-Oxycodone allegedly on March 20, 2017, in Northfield.

Felicia Sweatt, 31, of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for forgery and theft by unauthorized taking, both felonies. On June 5, 2016, she allegedly uttered a check from a man’s TD Bank account worth $413. On June 11, she allegedly stole items from Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road. According to the indictment, she’s been convicted twice before on theft charges.

Nicole Taylor, 44, of Branch Turnpike in Concord, on two felony counts of welfare fraud. Between December 2015 and March 2017, she allegedly intentionally failed to disclose resources and intentionally filed false statements that would have changed her eligibility status for benefits.

David Vien, 28, pictured upper right middle, with a last known address of Loudon Road in Pittsfield, for felony falsifying physical evidence. On April 21, 2017, believing that an investigation was pending on Tilton Hill Road in Pittsfield, he allegedly concealed and/or removed two five gallon buckets of marijuana by discarding them outside of the back of the house in order to impair an investigation.

Janaya Walcott, 19, of Crescent Lane in Malden, MA, for felony possession of a controlled drug-Oxycodone allegedly on May 4, 2017, in Henniker.

Charles Wilbur, 29, pictured upper right, of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, for convicted felons. On May 10, 2017, he allegedly was in possession of a fixed blade knife in a sheath in Concord. In October 2012, he was convicted of second-degree assault in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Nicholas Wilkins, 23, with a last known address of Charles Street in Penacook, for felony theft by unauthorized taking. On April 10, 2017, he allegedly stole items from Walmart on Loudon Road in Concord. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted twice before – on receiving stolen property in February 2015 and theft in May 2016 in Merrimack County Superior Court.
