Penacook Man Indicted On Riot, Gun Threat, Witness Tampering Charges: Court Roundup
Plus: Allenstown man indicted on child rape charge; Pittsfield thief indicted on more theft charges; NY, China theft suspects indicted.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Jonathan M. Scribner, 28, of Park Street in Pittsfield on attempted theft by unauthorized taking-value over $1,501 and three theft by unauthorized taking-two prior convictions charges, all felonies. He was accused of trying to start a Suzuki motorcycle without the key in Concord on Sept. 10, 2023. Scribner was also accused of stealing merchandise from Walmart on Loudon Road in Concord on Sept. 28, 2023; merchandise from Hannaford on Fort Eddy Road in Concord on Nov. 15, 2023; and a glass bong from the New York Smoke & Vape Shop in Concord on Nov. 24, 2023.
Richard Spofford, 43, of Monroe Avenue in Allenstown on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of raping a child under 13 between Feb. 13, 2012, and Feb. 13, 2013, in Allenstown.

Jesse James Sullivan, 32, formerly of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on first-degree murder, second-degree murder, falsifying physical evidence, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, armed career criminal, and felon in possession of a firearm charges, all felonies. He was accused of shooting and killing Zackary Sullivan on Jan. 16 in Concord. Sullivan was also accused of shooting at an Airport Road home on the same day. He was also accused of concealing a Walther P22 .22 caliber handgun on Jan. 16. Sullivan is a felon due to 11 drug possession, reckless conduct, and assault by prisoners convictions between 2009 and 2021. Habakku Tarwo, 20, of Village Street in Penacook on riot, burglary, felonious use of a firearm, criminal threatening-deadly weapon, criminal solicitation to commit falsifying physical evidence, and two tampering with witnesses and informants charges, all felonies. He was accused of burglarizing an apartment on Hanover Street, assaulting people inside the apartment with two or more people, and flashing a gun while saying, “Get the f--- back, I got the stick, and I’ll boom it,” or words to that effect on Nov. 25, 2023, in Concord. He was also accused of attempting to cover up his activity in the crime on Nov. 25, 2023, and getting another person to inform falsely on Nov. 28, 2023, in Concord. Guoxin Zheng, 46, of China, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and accomplice to receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. Hui Huang Zheng, 46, of Horace Haring in Flushing, New York, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on attempt to commit theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges, both felonies. Fangqun Zhong, 38, of China, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, conspiracy to commit theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and accomplice to receiving stolen property charges, both felonies. They worked together to travel to Concord to steal hundreds of gift cards to purchase items and ship them out of state on March 25, according to indictments. A Belknap County grand jury indicted the following people recently.
Christopher D. Wilson, 42, of Welkin Ring in Hooksett on a felony receiving stolen property-$1,501-plus charge. He was accused of retaining a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 belonging to another person on Feb. 17 in Alton that he knew to have been stolen.
Patrick Little Sr., 31, of Railroad Avenue in Alton Bay on second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation and second-degree assault-domestic violence charges, both felonies. He was accused of punching a boy in the face and strangling an intimate partner on March 13 in Alton Bay.
Jerome Delgado, 47, of Brookville Boulevard in Jamaica, New York, on a felony receiving stolen property-$1,501-plus charge. He was accused of retaining a 2015 Honda Civic on March 8 in Meredith, owned by another, that he knew had probably been stolen.
