Richard B. McJuary, 54, of Pinewood Trail in Concord was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 11 on a felony operating after being certified as a habitual offender charge and driving after revocation or suspension and unofficial inspection-registration decal charges. An officer on North State Street near Washington Street saw a pickup truck with the wrong inspection sticker color and it appeared to have vertical sides that were thicker than a normal sticker. The officer ran the plate and began following the truck until it pulled into a North Main Street church parking lot. The driver, McJuary, “immediately told” the officer “he did not have a license,” an affidavit said. When asked about the fake inspection sticker, he was accused of admitting he had created it. McJuary, according to a check, was deemed a habitual offender in May 2008 by the NH DMV after being found guilty of a third driving while intoxicated charge in January 2008. He was also previously convicted on habitual offender charges in January 2014 and October 2021. McJuary was then arrested. He was arraigned on Jan. 5 and is due back in superior court on May 4 for a dispositional conference.
Christopher A. Flippo, 44, of Old Suncook Road in Concord was arrested at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13 on two felony sex offender registration; knowing failure to comply charges. According to an affidavit, on Dec. 8, an officer met with Flippo to update his sex offender registration. He was convicted on a sexual assault charge in Strafford County Superior Court in September 2016, after an incident in Farmington. He was also convicted on a felony interference with custody charge in Hillsborough County Superior Court South after an incident in Milford, according to records. When asked if he had any changes, he stated he had a new work truck, purchased by his wife, that he was driving and needed to register the vehicle. A check though found Flippo was three days late with his December registration. The truck, as well, needed to be registered with the police within that time frame. When asked about this, the officer wrote in an affidavit that he had forgotten about it. Flippo was arraigned in superior court on Dec. 29 on a single felony count. He is due back in court for a dispositional conference on March 29.
