There is a lot to know about the "One Big Beautiful Bill" that is now federal law. More on that further below.

That said, the 'hot' topic is the Epstein controversy. It is tempting to weigh in with both feet on the Epstein controversy. Certainly, others across the left-right divide in media are and have been doing so.

The left and their media allies often appear to think that the lack of a release of the Epstein "client list" is a winner for them to use against President Trump and his team. Time will tell.

There are also Trump allies and those in the MAGA/America First movement, as well as pundits in that orbit, and those on the right that are disappointed or worse that so far the DOJ and FBI have "punted."

There is smoke. There are reasons to believe that "a list" exists, be they clients of Epstein and/or for some purported intelligence operators.

But rather than get out over our skis, let's wait a few days and see if the uproar shakes something truly new loose. Then, there may be less need for speculation and something to discuss.

So, yours truly will keep an eye on that, will provide a few X-posts on the topic in Part III, and will not weigh in at this moment because it won’t be a surprise if something of substance will break on the Epstein controversy soon.

Today, President Donald J. Trump officially signed The One Big Beautiful Bill into law — a once-in-a-generation piece of legislation that makes good on his campaign promises and puts America First.
Here’s what this means for everyday Americans:

The largest tax cut in history for middle- and working-class Americans
Joint Committee on Taxation, the tax bill will most benefit workers and families making less than $50,000 per year.
Bigger paychecks of $10,000+ more in annual take-home pay for families.
NO tax on Tips.

NO tax on Social Security.
$12.5 billion modernization of our air traffic control system.

Permanently increasing the Child Tax Credit for more than 40 million families.

National Federation of Independent Business: America’s Small Businesses Applaud President Trump, Congress for Stopping Massive Tax Hike on Main Street

“Since 2017, the Small Business Tax Deduction has allowed small businesses to deduct up to 20% of their business income. Without immediate action by Congress, this essential tax deduction was set to expire at the end of the year, raising taxes on millions of small businesses. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act provides permanent tax relief, freeing America’s small businesses to invest in their businesses and employees. Along with making the Small Business Deduction permanent, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act includes additional wins for small businesses:

Increases Section 179, Small Business Expensing Cap from $1.25 million to $2.5 million. This will allow small businesses to fully expense business equipment purchases in the first year.
Makes the 2017 marginal rate cuts permanent. Without this provision, five out of seven marginal (individual) income tax rates will rise at the end of the year. Nine out of 10 small businesses are organized as pass-through businesses and pay regular income tax rates rather than the C-corporation rate.
Increases and makes permanent the Small Business Estate Tax Exemption. The new exemption thresholds will be set at $15 million for individual filers and $30 million for joint filers.”
