Coronavirus-Related Cancellations In SF Bay Area: List
From naked bike rides to proms, parades, festivals, stage shows, concerts and classes, the list keeps growing in effort to stop COVID-19.
SF BAY AREA — As officials grapple to thwart the possible spread of the new coronavirus throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, organizers of community, city and regional events are scrambling to cancel planned activities to comply with health advisories.
From Broadway-style, theatrical productions to local dance-school recitals, fairground car shows and cheese festivals, ride-naked bike parades, crab feeds, film fests, high school proms, church services, plus school and university classes, events aplenty landed on the scrap pile this week.
As of Saturday morning, officials confirmed the following cases in the greater Bay Area:
