Thief From Concord Racks Up More Charges After Incidents At City Stores: Concord Police Log

CONCORD, NH — James L. Merchant, born in 1985, of Concord, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2026, on the following charges: theft by unauthorized taking, a felony due to two prior convictions, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief, after an investigation or incident at Rocky’s Ace Hardware at 20 Loudon Road; theft detection device remover and criminal mischief charges after an investigation or incident at L.L. Bean at 55 Fort Eddy Road; theft by unauthorized taking, a felony due to two prior convictions, and willful concealment after an investigation or incident at the Hannaford supermarket at 73 Fort Eddy Road; and theft by unauthorized taking, a felony due to two prior convictions, and willful concealment at the Merrimack County Jail.

Sophia Ann Anderson, born in 2007, of Concord, received a summons at 2 a.m. on Jan. 3 on an unlawful possession-intoxication charge after an investigation or incident on Green Street.

Justin Wayne Pate, born in 1989, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. on Jan. 2 on theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000, willful concealment, and two breach of bail charges. He was arrested after an investigation or incident at Lowe’s at 90 Fort Eddy Road.

Garrett Rogenski, born in 1994, of Concord, was arrested at 4 a.m. on Jan. 1 on criminal trespass and willful concealment charges after an investigation or incident at the Shaw’s supermarket at 20 D’Amante Drive and criminal trespass, willful concealment, and theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charges after an investigation or incident at Walmart at 344 Loudon Road.

Valerie E. Fredette, born in 1984, of Concord, was arrested at 5:11 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025, on a criminal trespass charge after an investigation or incident at the Doubletree by Hilton at 172 N. Main St.

Krystal Marie Robie, born in 1989, of Penacook, was arrested at 4:34 p.m. on Dec. 30 on criminal threatening and disorderly conduct charges after an investigation or incident on Loudon Road.

Ryann Johnson, born in 1981, of Franklin, was arrested at 5:50 a.m. on Dec. 20 on stalking and breach of bail charges after an investigation or incident on South Main Street.

James Richard Connelly, born in 2007, of North Andover, Massachusetts, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. on Dec. 19 on indecent exposure-sex act, child under 16, and computer services-use prohibited charges. Matthew C. Milne, born in 1980, of Concord, was arrested at 8 p.m. on Dec. 18 on two reckless conduct-deadly weapon and two criminal threatening-deadly weapon charges. He was arrested after an investigation or incident at the Salisbury Green apartment complex on Loudon Road.

Jeffrey M. Spoor, born in 1943, of Concord, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. on Dec. 18 on criminal mischief and breach of bail charges after an investigation or incident on Broad Avenue.

William McFarlin, born in 1953, of Concord, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 on simple assault and domestic violence-simple assault charges after an investigation or incident on Hall Street.

John M. Black, born in 1986, of Manchester, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. on Dec. 12 on a credit card fraud-$1,001 to $1,500 or two priors charge after an investigation or incident at the Longhorn Steakhouse at 217 Loudon Road.
