LOUDON, NH — A Pittsfield man was arrested early Thursday after a pursuit that began in Concord and ended in Loudon, according to New Hampshire State Police.
Nathaniel Bergeron, 29, was taken into custody after troopers and Concord police attempted to stop a black 2014 Jeep Cherokee, but the driver did not stop.
State police reported that just before 1 a.m. on Thursday, troopers were notified the driver had fled from Concord police after officers tried to conduct a traffic stop.
Concord police initially identified the driver as a woman, according to scanner chatter.
Troopers then located the Jeep on Route 4 in Concord and attempted to stop it. The driver continued westbound onto Loudon Road as a pursuit followed.
The pursuit continued until Concord officers deployed a tire deflation device on Route 106. Police reported the device deflated the Jeep's front driver-side tire, but the driver continued northbound into Loudon on the damaged tire. The pursuit ended on Route 129 in Loudon, where Bergeron was taken into custody, state police said.
