Concord Man Arrested On Assault Charges After East Side Drive Incident: Police Log
Plus: More incidents at the Friendly Kitchen; pet injured on Ormond Street; sex offender accused of failure to register with police.

CONCORD, NH — Nathan Simard, 44, of Harvey Lake Road in Northwood was arrested at 6:42 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2024, on violation of a protective order and felony witness tampering charges. He was arrested after an incident or investigation at Sam’s Club at 304 Sheep David Road.
Dylan J. Bill, 26, of Concord received a summons at 5:45 p.m. on Aug. 25 on a bench warrant after an incident or investigation on North Main Street.
David Guion, born 1958, of Concord was arrested on a bench warrant at 5:37 p.m. on Aug. 25 after an incident or investigation at the Friendly Kitchen at 2 S. Commercial St.

Anthony Thomas Manning, 35, of Haverhill was arrested at 6:37 p.m. on Aug. 24 on a theft by unauthorized taking-less than $1,000 charge after an incident or investigation at Lowe’s at 90 Fort Eddy Road.
Kaitlyn R. Reed, 34, of Concord received a summons at 7:31 p.m. on Aug. 24 on a conduct after an accident charge and a following too closely violation after an incident or investigation on Loudon Road.

Kevin Gobeil, 29, of Concord was arrested on a warrant at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 after an incident or investigation on Hall Street. A warrant was issued for his arrest on July 26 on a violation of probation or parole charge after being convicted on a controlled drug act charge out of Gilmanton from November 2022 and a violation of probation or parole after the conviction.
Jesse J. DeFlorio, 32, of Boscawen was arrested on a warrant at 10:47 a.m. on Aug. 8 as well as arson, reckless conduct-deadly weapon, and criminal mischief charges, all felonies. Derrick Jonathan Pogue, 27, of Concord was arrested at 10:06 a.m. on Aug. 8 on a simple assault charge. He was arrested after an incident or investigation at Regency Hill Estates at 12 E. Side Drive. Pogue was arrested again at 10:43 a.m. on a simple assault charge at police headquarters. New Hampshire State Police previously arrested him in May on a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge. According to superior court records, his case was boundover and is due back in court for a dispositional conference hearing on Oct. 23.
Brenda L. Goodwin, born 2000, of Concord was arrested at 9:56 a.m. on Aug. 8 on a bench warrant after an incident or investigation at the Friendly Kitchen at 2 S. Commercial St.
Michael James Carr, 63, of Pleasant Street in Concord was arrested at 10:09 a.m. on Aug. 8 on a felony sex offender registration; knowing failure to comply charge. A detective was conducting an audit on sex offender registration in the Concord Police Department computer database on March 26, checking expired registrations. Carr, the detective wrote, “appeared” to have an expired registration. He was required to register with police due to an aggravated felonious sexual assault conviction in November 2011 in Merrimack County Superior Court. Carr was also previously convicted of aggravated felonious sexual assault in October 2011 in Strafford County Superior Court and Merrimack County Superior Court as well as duty to report in Concord District Court in March 2023. He was compliant for his September and December 2023 registrations, an affidavit said. The detective accused Carr of failing to file within five business days of March 7. A warrant for his arrest was issued on March 27.
Nripa R. Darji, born 1983, of Concord received a summons at 9:29 a.m. on Aug. 8 on a report of injury to a dog or cat violation after an incident or investigation on Ormond Street.
Joshua M. Gagnon, 31, of Concord was arrested on a warrant at 3:14 a.m. on Aug. 8 as well as a resisting arrest or detention charge after an incident or investigation on North Main Street.
