CONCORD, NH — A Concord man, with a slew of priors, is accused of giving state police a false name to elude arrest. At just before midnight on June 1, a state trooper stopped a vehicle after it was clocked driving 102 mph on I-93 in Bow. While speaking with the driver, the trooper suspected impairment. After a field sobriety test, the driver, a teenager, was arrested.
Three other male passengers were questioned, according to an affidavit. Two were under age and were accused of smelling like alcohol so they were charged.

One other man was questioned and when asked to give his information, he stated "Abbass Mohammed," with a birthdate of September 1997. The trooper stated that it was odd because the man kept saying he was 19, according to an affidavit. A records check listed no information on that name.
The man "slurred" his speech and denied a request to take a preliminary breath test, the trooper said. Later though, he agreed, and reportedly blew a 0.117, according to the report. Since the man kept saying he was 19 and had a test that was over the legal limit, he was placed into custody.

During processing, while filling out a bail form, the man wrote down a different birthdate than he gave the trooper, the affidavit alleged.
"He then scribbled all over the form," the trooper stated. "On the bail form, he wrote, 'No!' diagonally across."
This piqued the curiosity of the trooper and he asked the man if he had been previously arrested. The man reportedly stated that he had, a few times, in Concord. The trooper spoke to Concord dispatch but the department didn't have any information with the name available.
The man was transported to the Merrimack County Jail with a trooper standing by until he was positively identified as John J. Jellue, 22, of Jennings Drive in Concord. Jellue "continued to provide false information, even after identifying himself," the trooper stated. He was processed and held on an obstructing government administration charge and arraigned on June 3.
According to reports on Patch, Jellue has been charged with theft, operating without a valid license, unlawful possession, transporting alcoholic beverages by a minor, nonappearance in court, and picked up on numerous warrants and bench warrants.
