Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

MANCHESTER, CT — There's a small storefront restaurant tucked into a strip mall on Deming street in Manchester that serves up some authentic poke bowls.

Welcome to the latest Hidden Gem — Poke Don restaurant. It's at 179 Deming St.

Poke is diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course and is a staple of Hawaiian cuisine. Poke Don has extensive offerings and receives stellar reviews from its clientele.

The dumplings are a signature dish as well.

The Manchester Poke Don is located on the fringe of the Buckland Hills commercial district in Manchester. There's also a Poke Don in Glastonbury at 63 Hebron Ave.
