Pembroke Man Indicted On Threat, Domestic Violence Charges: Merrimack County Superior Court Indictments

Man indicted on meth, fentanyl sale charges; Franklin thief indicted on theft charges; Manchester man indicted on strangulation charges.

CONCORD, NH — A grand jury in Merrimack County recently indicted the individuals listed below.

Maurice Anthony, 47, of St. John Stall in Portland, Maine, on a felony count of theft by deception. He was accused of stealing a Milwaukee press tool from F.W. Webb Company on Sept. 29, 2025, in Concord, by presenting a credit card in the name of another person to purchase the item.

Joshua Atwood, 37, of Currier Road in Hill or Franklin on sale of fentanyl, sale of fentanyl-principle/accomplice, sale of methamphetamine-principle/accomplice, possession of meth, and two possession of fentanyl charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing the drugs on Aug. 27, 2025, and Jan. 20 in Franklin. On July 22, 2025, Atwood worked in concert with or aided by Justin Adams and Laura Hazelton to sell drugs to another person, according to the indictments.

Scott R. Bernard Jr., 32, of Donna Drive in Pembroke, on reckless conduct, three criminal threatening, and six domestic violence counts, all felonies. He was accused of handling a handgun, a knife, and a shotgun while intoxicated in Pembroke on March 25, stating, “guns, knives, or hands,” or words to that effect.

Alan R. Peterson, 37, of Franklin, incarcerated in the Merrimack County Jail at the time of the indictment, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Hannaford in Concord on March 25. Previously, according to the indictment, Peterson had been convicted twice before.

Robert Philbrick, 26, of Concord, incarcerated at the time of the indictment, on possession of MDMB-4en-PINACA on April 1, 2025, in Concord, and a felon in possession of a shank, about five-and-a-half inches long, on Oct. 21, 2025. He is a felon due to convictions in January 2023 in Hills North. Philbrick was also convicted of acts prohibited in Hills North in January 2023.

Sean P. Plumer, 55, of Old Cohas Avenue in Manchester, on second-degree assault and second-degree assault-domestic violence charges, both felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on Jan. 17 in Dunbarton.

Jamie Prentice, 28, of Royal Gardens in Concord, on a felony motor vehicles; penalties count. She was accused of driving on North State Street on April 24 after being certified as a habitual offender.

William Slocum, 39, a homeless man now located in Concord, on two felony counts of penalty; registration of criminal offenders. He was accused of failing to register with Concord police on Oct. 23, 2025, and failing to give Concord police his residential address on Dec. 10, 2025.

Joseph D. Thrasher, 34, of Mason Road in Chichester, on a felony count of motor vehicles; penalties. He was accused of driving on Christian Avenue in Concord on March 20 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Patricia R. Van Nest, 61, of Thorndike Street in Concord, on three felony counts of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-meth and clonazepam on May 12, 2025, in Concord.
