Concord Woman Faces Drug Charges At New Hotel: Police Log

Man arrested on order violation, heads to jail, faces 3 assault charges there; assault at Royal Gardens; man faces stalking charge.

CONCORD, NH — Carl David Soderberg, born 1968, of Concord was cited at 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2022, on criminal mischief and three criminal trespass charges after an incident at the Concord Homeless Outreach Center and Shelter on North Main Street.

Emmanuel Muhire, 32, of Concord was arrested at 11:41 a.m. on Aug. 16 on stalking and criminal trespass charges after an incident at the Morning Star Condominiums on Loudon Road.

Michael L. Johnson, born 1985, of Concord was arrested at 3:32 p.m. on Aug. 15 on a theft by deception charge, a felony, due to two prior convictions, after an incident at Lowe’s on Fort Eddy Road.

Colton James Squeglia, 26, of Concord was arrested at 5:29 p.m. on Aug. 14 on a bench warrant after an incident on West Street. He failed to appear in Merrimack County Superior Court on April 1 on three felony controlled drug act: acts prohibited charges from Loudon in January. Squeglia was arraigned on Aug. 17 and released again on personal recognizance.

Kaleb Ferland, 31, of Bradford was arrested at 2:34 p.m. on Aug. 11 on a violation of a protective order charge after an incident on Canal Street. He was also charged with three felony assault by a prison counts after an incident at the Merrimack County Jail.

Dianne Marie Perry, born 1998, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, received a summons at 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 9 on an operating with an expired license charge after an incident on South Main Street.

Cordaire C. Nelson, 35, of Concord was cited at 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 2 on a criminal trespass charge after an incident on West Sugarball Road.

Benjamin B. Berry, 45, of Concord was arrested at 3:58 a.m. on Aug. 2 on a bench warrant after an incident at the Concord Public Library on Green Street.

Rachel L. Newton, 30, of Hall Street in Concord was arrested at 4:52 p.m. on Aug. 1 and charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of methamphetamine charges, both felonies, as well as a single dealing in or possessing prescription drug misdemeanor count. At just before 1 a.m. on Feb. 16, an officer reported a Chevrolet Impala parked behind the Tru By Hilton Hotel on South Main Street and ran a check on it. The vehicle was owned by Newton but another woman was inside, a report said. The reporting officer arrived and saw Newton moving items from the hotel to the car. The officer approached her and, “in plain view,” saw a plastic baggie, in a driver’s side door pocket, with a substance that looked like cocaine or heroin, an affidavit said. The officer pointed a flashlight at the door and said the baggie contained a tan colored powder, suspected to be fentanyl, the report said. The reporting officer requested a search warrant for the vehicle and a scale, marijuana, buprenorphine were located in Newton’s purse, a report said. On April 29, the state lab reported evidence collected from the search confirmed both fentanyl and meth. A warrant was issued for Newton’s arrest on the charges on July 27.
