Former NH Teacher, Coach Indicted On Sexual Assault Charge: Superior Court Roundup

Sex offenders indicted on registration charges; another teen indicted on Hooksett riot charges; Danbury man faces strangulation charge.

CONCORD, NH — A Merrimack County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Brandon Kear, 33, of Abel Road in Rindge on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of sexually assaulting a former student of Mascenic High School between Aug. 1 and Dec. 31, 2021, while in New London. According to stories online, Kear was a physical education teacher at the school and coached boys basketball. He was suspended in October 2022. The New Hampshire Department of Education suspended Kear’s educator certification in September.

Grant E. Kocak, 18, of Wimbledon Drive in Londonderry on riot, criminal threatening, and criminal mischief charges, all felonies. He was accused of assembling two or more people to engage in violence against another while damaging a vehicle and threatening a person with a knife on March 16 in Hooksett.

Eric D. Lassonde, 31, a homeless man now located in Concord, on attempted theft by deception and forgery charges, both felonies. He was accused of uttering a check against the account of CSI Transport LLC for $6,264.33 at TD Bank in Concord on July 11.

Anthony Laura, 39, of Birchwood Terrace in Henniker on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on Wood Hill Village Road in Henniker on June 29 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Heather M. Lytle, 42, of Davis Street in Center Barnstead on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. She was accused of driving on Sheep Davis Road in Concord on July 17 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Shane A. Adkinson, 39, of Beech Street in Manchester on a felony forgery charge. He was accused of uttering an altered check in Hooksett on May 30.

Nicholas B. Allard, 24, of Hoyt Brook Road in Danbury on a felony second-degree assault-domestic violence charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on Sept. 4 in Danbury.

Tommi Lynn Allen, 45, a homeless woman now located in Concord, on three felony counts of penalty; registration of criminal offenders. She was accused of failing to register with police on Jan. 26, Feb. 6, and April 24. Allen is a sex offender, according to the state, due to a felonious sexual assault conviction involving a child in June 2011.

Ronald Anderson, 47, of Main Street in Nashua on Medicaid fraud-false claims, theft of services, attempted theft of services, and Medicaid fraud-false statement charges, all felonies. He was accused of defrauding Medicaid between Dec. 19, 2021, and Feb. 13, 2022, after twice before being convicted on theft charges.

Brian Ayala, 33, a homeless man now located in Allenstown, on 10 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images. Jonathan E. Ball, 62, of Academy Road in Pembroke on a felony penalty; registration of criminal offenders charge. He was accused of failing to register a phone number with police on May 8. Ball is a sex offender due to a possession of child sexual abuse images conviction in Merrimack County Superior Court in August 2011.
