Salisbury Woman Arrested On Felony Theft Charge: Concord Cop Log
Cop claims habitual offender jumped out of moving car to avoid arrest; woman faces DUI charge; trespass incident leads to fentanyl arrest.

CONCORD, NH — Travis Vachon, 34, of Loudon Road in Concord was arrested at 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2022, on a warrant as well as a felony operating after certification as a habitual offender, disobeying an officer, and resisting arrest or detention charges. An officer, around 10 a.m., thought he saw Vachon driving a red Chevy Cruze, pulling out of the parking lot of the Morning Star Condominium complex, and ran the vehicle's plate. The vehicle was owned by a woman known to Vachon. The officer knew Vachon from previous encounters and checked Loudon Road but could not confirm he was driving. Around 11:30 a.m., the reporting officer found the vehicle again, parked in the complex. At just before noon, the officer saw the Cruze pull out of the parking lot and confirmed Vachon was driving, according to an affidavit. The officer ran a check on Vachon and found he had an active warrant and was a habitual offender. The officer pulled behind the vehicle on Loudon Road and attempted to get Vachon to pull over, the report said. “Travis never looked into his mirror and was acting like he did not see me,” the report stated. “I opened my door and yelled to Travis, ‘Pull the car over.’” Vachon turned into the Uno’s Car Washing parking lot and “sped through the parking lot toward the Northeast corner,” the officer wrote. The officer said they did not move their vehicle from Loudon Road until he saw Vachon “getting out of the moving car,” the affidavit said. “The vehicle was still moving forward but Travis was running north into the 12 East Side Drive complex,” the officer said. The officer ordered him to stop and accused Vachon of refusing and fleeing. Twice, the report stated, Vachon slipped and fell. On East Side Drive, the officer accused Vachon of hiding behind a vehicle and placed him under arrest. He was arraigned on Feb. 10 in Merrimack County Superior Court.
