BERLIN, CT β€” The latest trip to a Hidden Gem nearly takes us out of this column's boundaries, as we visit Ken's Cards & Collectibles in Berlin, on the southern edge of Hartford County.

For more than 20 years, Ken Asal has provided collectors with thousands of varieties of sports and non-sports cards, memorabilia, certified autographs, jerseys, Funko pops, comic books and assorted treasures. In addition to the huge on-site inventory, there are thousands more items available online via eBay.

A unique feature of the shop is the famous "Rasslin' Room," filled with thousands of professional wrestling trading cards, autographed photos, posters, DVDs, action figures and magazines. Dozens of big-name wrestling personalities have made personal appearances at the store over the years.

Located at 27 Mill Street, the store is in close proximity to Routes 5, 15 and 9, yet is not the easiest to actually find. Once the bright yellow sign has been spotted, however, hours of enjoyment are awaiting inside.
