Felicia A. Farruggia, 35, of Arch Street in Northfield was arrested at 9:28 a.m. on Sept. 12 on a felony drug possession charge and a deal-possess prescription drugs charge as well as a warrant. An officer at the Heights substation took a report about an overdose in an apartment at Concord Gardens the night before. The officer investigated the incident and spoke with Farruggia about the man who overdosed, a report said. The officer accused Farruggia of “sweating and making uncontrollable jerking motions” while speaking with him — consistent with behavior connected to being “intoxicated from ingesting drugs.” The affidavit said she confirmed taking drugs the night before. A check found Farruggia had an electronic bench warrant out of Concord District Court from Sept. 7 on a criminal trespass charge with $100 cash bail. She was then arrested. While searching her purse on a table in the office, the officer found several needles, empty, small clear baggies, and several small pink bottles with liquid inside, the affidavit said. The bottles were for methadone, with a script from Aug. 9, the report said, with Farruggia stating they belonged to a second man. Another bottle was for clindamycin with a script in another person’s name, the report said. Concord fire and rescue teams were requested for Farruggia and she was taken to the hospital.
