MARLBOROUGH, CT — The latest trek to a Hidden gem takes us to a rural section of Hartford County and a place "for finding what you didn't even know you were looking for."

That's the motto at The Shops at Marlborough Barn, a collection of antiques and collectibles offerings tucked along North Main Street. The property has other unique shops as well.

The property was originally a 19th-century dairy farm, and was, in the 1960s, turned into a business specializing in high-end furnishings. After it closed in 2008, the present business emerged.
