RREC gives visitors a chance to get close to about 70 species of indigenous and exotic animals, including snakes, lizards, alligators and turtles and a few "other creatures" from around the world.

The animals are able to enjoy "naturalistic enclosures," that promote "normal behavior" and "unique visitor observations."
