Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

TOLLAND, CT — We're blaming this one on Tolland Town Manager Brian Foley.

One thing about Foley is that he does shop local and is never shy about touting local products. So this week, he was bragging on social media that he scored some of the Rough Cut Cider at The Farm Stand at Lemek Farm for some staff gift bags.

So it had to be the Hidden Gem this week.

For years, Lemek Farm has featured local and native fruits and vegetables, plants and other seasonal items. It has a reputation for "great customer service knowledge."

It also has the cider.

The farm is located at 351 Goose Lane in Tolland.
