HARTFORD, CT — We find ourselves in a corner of the Capital City this week for the latest Hidden Gem, which happens to be the latest mural to grace Hartford's landscape

RiseUP for Arts, together with Cirque du Soleil, this week showed off the completion of a mural by Hartford's own Corey Pane. Located at 306 Market Street, the mural brings the magic of Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR to life.

The mural is the third collaboration between RiseUP for Arts and Cirque du Soleil, celebrates the BAZZAR performances in Hartford under the Big Top at Market Street, now through May 5.

A colorful homage to Cirque du Soleil legacy, BAZZAR features acrobatic disciplines such as teeterboard, acro bike, contortion, duo roller-skates, duo trapeze, aerial rope, hair suspension, fire manipulation, slackline and amazing music performed live on stage.

"We're thrilled to return to Hartford and to debut BAZZAR," said Franck Hanselman, the senior tour director for Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR. "Collaborating with organizations like RiseUp reflects our belief in art's transformative power. We hope the mural ignites imaginations and inspires the people of this great city."

Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam said, "This mural not only beautifies our city but also symbolizes Hartford's vibrant culture and our openness to the world's wonders. We are thrilled to host Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR and to celebrate this artistic milestone together with our community."

Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR is billed as "an eclectic lab of infinite creativity where a joyful troupe of acrobats, dancers and musicians craft an awe-inspiring spectacle."
